  • Nightmare! Leather sofa restoration done terribly!

    Hired (to my huge regret!) to restore my 3-seater leather sofa. Asked to repair a 2” x 2” area of leather. Instead of just filling the damaged area, they applied swathes of paste across several areas. This paste is now hardened and feels ridiculous. They then spray-painted the ENTIRE sofa (which we did NOT agree to) an entirely different colour (Cream) from its original colour (Oyster White)! Hideous! No longer matches my two white armchairs. Where was the colour-matching that they bragged about?? Splashes of paint on zips & fabric. Damaged sofa in transit. Botched repair! Seeking refund.

    Leather Doctor were absolutely true to their word - they came to look at the sofa and to quote. They were honest about the waiting time - I did have to wait over six months before they could schedule the work but they didn't want a deposit and sure enough they contacted me as scheduled and collected the sofa (and offered me a spare while the work was being done). The results are amazing - the sofa looks like new - its actually over 40 years old! Brilliant service which I would thoroughly recommend.
