  • House Renovation – New Floor – Less Insulation than I paid for

    Liam completed some building work on my home in January-March 2023. Last week, almost a year on, I pulled out an old fireplace. This exposed a cross section of the new downstairs floor Liam had laid. The quote was for 150 mm of PIR insulation under the concrete floor. What I exposed showed that only 100 mm thickness had been fitted. I contacted Liam by email on 21st February and by text on 26th February 2024 asking for an explanation but received no reply.

They went above and beyond, keeping to start and finish dates, working to a high standard and working around other less reliable tradesmen. I can't recommend L W building services enough.
