• Loft Floor and First Floor Refurbishment

  We found M D Powell on Checkatrade. Mike and is team carried out a complete refurbishment of our loft floor and a first-floor bedroom. They partitioned the loft area, installed a new shower room, refurbished a first-floor bedroom with built in wardrobe and storage area and installed new flooring covering the whole of the first floor with painting and decorating throughout. Mike, Nick and the team of plumbers, electricians, painters, carpenters, and plasterers were courteous, professional and kept disruption to a minimum. We have no hesitation in recommending him.

  Mike arranged for my wooden side gate to be removed and replaced. Both Mike and his Carpenter tradesman arrive when arranged and were polite and courteous. An excellent job and everything was left clean and tidy. I would definitively recommend this Company

• Extension downstairs cloakroom

  Mike and his team built a downstairs cloakroom extension to the front of the house following our plans. Although it took longer than initially thought due to inevitable material shortages, Mike kept us up to date with progress. All the individual tradesman completed work to a high standard and were very pleasant have around the place. They worked around the problems that arise when altering an old property including moving the original oak front door.

• Garage Conversion and small front extension

  Mike and his team did a fantastic job on our garage conversion, we're really happy with it. Having heard about how stressful construction works can be at home, we were initially apprehensive but Mike and team were a pleasure to work with and most importantly were entirely trustworthy. No unforeseen additional costs at the end of the job. I didn't provide them with detailed drawings but this wasn't an issue for them. We discussed design as they went and the finished product looks great and all in accordance with building regs.
