    Prepared and painted ceiling walls and woodwork for my 95 yr old mother. Who with my elderly dad before going into a nursing home, had done the decorating themselves. So Mike had a big job. He was very good with mother and I felt confident that she was in safe hands. They always tidied up after them each day. So mum could just carry on as normal. The house looks so much better. A job well done

    I cannot recommend Mick and Jordan more highly. The quality of their workmanship is superb and we're delighted with the results. We'd been concerned about our old walls and what we might find but we were in very safe hands, they knew exactly what they were doing. They spent time on meticulous preparation due to crumbling walls and woodwork which had many thick layers of old gloss. And they skilfully replaced a ceiling which had fallen in. Mick and Jordan are a pleasure to work with, always polite and professional, they take great pride in their work. We would recommend them to all friends and family.

Welcome to M J Decorating Services we are a reliable and professional, Painting and Decorating service in the Basingstoke area - we always answer the phone!

We have 46 years’ experience within the decorating trade, alongside this we are college trained and fully insured. We carry out domestic and commercial contracts, all interior and exterior painting carried out – Heights are no problem!

We can hang all kinds of wallcoverings from everyday lining paper to hand printed design also 52-inch-wide vinyl’s to Lincrusta papers. We keep our customers fully informed whilst carrying out the decorating contract, if needed we can also advise on colour and design.

We can also do small carpentry jobs, the services in which we cover are:

  • Laminate flooring
  • Skirting
  • Dado Rails
  • Hanging of interior doors
  • Architraves
  • Door stops
  • Artexing of cellings.
