  Great experience with Mercia with an emergency move from London to the Netherlands that was arranged and completed within a week. Kate from Mercia is a superstar and sorted everything out without any fuzz. Communicated effectively, kept it simple for us, and was always there to support without hesitation. The whole process literally took just a few days of back and forth to align on what should be moved, when things could happen, and the logistics of timings. In my opinion, great value for money.   Avoid this company. They provide competitive prices but then do not notify you about additional costs. Once the shipment arrives there is no way to get the goods released unless you pay costs that were failed to be mentioned. Complete lack of transparency. Avoid them and go for other more established movers.

  A truly wonderful experience working with Mercia Movers, from start to finish. Incredibly well organised and professional right from the initial phone to call to final delivery of our furniture and goods from Spain to the UK. We dealt with Simon, Debbie and Martin in the office, all of whom were super efficient. The removal men at both ends were polite, hard working and shining examples of how to do, what I would consider to be a very hard, taxing, complex job and, what is more, they all showed exceptional people skills.   We moved a load of furniture from Cardiff, UK to the French alps. The two movers were friendly and helpful and very clear with the process, and the support from the team back at the office who helped to organise everything was great. They all made a potentially tricky process much easier and clearer, would definitely recommend.

  Worst movers we hired that over charged drastically by filling up our boxes with 36 sacks of purely paper, boxes/items/jewelry missing, opened confidential files, mobile phones, laptops, hard drives, banking / medical / personally identifiable information, which were previously sealed, without consent and which is a GDPR nightmare. Have video and photo evidence of all of this to which the owner refutes and denies. Took our items to their warehouse and repacked every single item without consent to create more volume to charge. DO NOT TRUST THEM.
