  On downsizing into a much modernised bungalow we needed more storage space. We bought five base unit cupboards from the manufacturer for the kitchen and garage and needed a carpenter to fit them. Peter's Checkatrade entries and his friendly visit to size up the job led us to getting a reasonably priced quote. There needed to be some precision work and ingenuity in the installation. The new kitchen cupboards match in perfectly and the three units in the garage support a much-needed large worktop. This was an excellently well done project, completely free of hassle!

  Peter did a really excellent job fitting our doors. From first leaving our details on Checkatrade he contacted us quickly with a reasonable estimate and visited within a week to provide a full quote. His communication was quick and clear throughout the process and he gave us lots of good advice on sourcing materials. The job itself was only two visits, and Peter worked tidily and efficiently, barely disturbing my partner and I as we were both working from home. Highly recommended!

  Peter came to look at the job and get some measurements first. He arrived on time and was friendly and polite. He quickly took some measurements and said he could do the job for me. I had read his great reviews, so booked him in. I left Peter with a key and held my breath! I didn't need to, as he did a great job installing the door and architrave in 1 day. It was a very neat and tidy job and he cleaned up after himself, so you almost wouldn't know anyone had been in. He is a very good carpenter, reliable and trustworthy with the keys to the house, so I would definitely recommend him.
