Hello and welcome to Pete Hill Plumbing.


My name is Pete and I'm an experienced Plumber based in Newhaven.


I provide a friendly and professional plumbing service and am more than happy to carry out small jobs.

I started my plumbing business in Newhaven in 2002, before that I was employed as a plumber working on various projects, large and small.


I have also worked as a sub-contractor, installing plumbing on new build housing developments.

I have worked in the plumbing industry for over 30 years.


I am a sole trader; I do not use sub-contractors and customers only deal with myself.

SERVICES.

  • Most of my work is small plumbing repairs and installations.
  • General plumbing.
  • New taps / tap repairs.
  • Outside taps installed.
  • Toilet cistern - leaks and repairs.
  • Toilet and cistern installation.
  • Ball valve replacement.
  • New cold-water tanks.
  • Kitchen sink installation and pipe work.
  • Leaking pipe work repaired / replaced.
  • Electric showers installed (plumbing only, not electrical work) 
  • Radiators and valves.
  • Washing machine and dishwasher installation. (not repairs) 
  • Blocked pipes, toilets, and domestic drains.

IMPORTANT 

I do not install full bathroom suites, fit shower trays and cubicles.

I do not carry out ceramic wall and floor tiling work.

I am NOT Gas Safe Registered, and do not fit or service gas boilers or appliances.

 I do not repair or service any type of shower.


OPENING HOURS

Monday to Thursday 9AM - 6PM

Friday 9AM -6PM

Saturday 9AM -1PM

Sunday -Closed


l do not offer a 24 hour emergency service.

I can sometimes answer texts and emails outside of opening hours, please feel free to send a message.


All jobs are pre booked, I can sometimes do jobs at short notice.

If sending a message through the Checkatrade page I may not be able to reply immediately if I’m working, I cannot reply to messages at night, I also may not be able to reply to messages at the weekend.


I will always reply to any voicemails and texts sent to the mobile number during working hours, please leave your number and maybe mention when you would like to be called. I do not answer my mobile phone when driving, in a meeting with customers or when working on certain jobs.


The main areas I work in are: Newhaven, Denton, South Heighton, Peacehaven, Telscombe Cliffs, Saltdean, Rottingdean, Ovingdean, Woodingdean, Seaford/Bishopstone. Lewes, Piddinghoe/Rodmell/Kingston, Ringmer.
