• Tarmac driveway with brick edging

  We needed an old rubble and mud area to be developed into a driveway. John gave us a very competitive quote which we were all happy to accept. The team worked extremely well and the area has now been transformed. John and his team were very friendly and professional. They answered any queries and took on board any changes we wanted to make. The final cost was the same as the quote. We are so pleased with the new driveway and have received many positive comments about the new look. Would definitely recommend Reading Asphalt.

• Let us down on all fronts

  We agreed a date to complete works but no one turned up. I drove 2hrs from London to make the 8.30am appointment but after the initial no show John stopped taking my calls or answering my emails. If you are unwilling or unable to do the job, that is completely fine, just man up and say it rather than running away and hiding. John wasted my time and money. Hopefully you don't have the same experience.

• Repurpose our front garden to tarmac

  We needed more parking space at the front of the house. John came round at the agreed time and went through all of our options. We agreed the work to be done, cost and day to start. Everything went well except the weather but the job was still done on time, within budget and the workers couldn’t have been friendlier. I am now using my driveway with loads of room and my wife and I couldn’t be happier.

  From start to finish the service was perfect. John visited to size up and provide a quote only a day after we made contact. The guys started work a week or so later and were on time every day, tidy and extremely easy to communicate with. The advice and suggestions provided along the way, both from Nathan and John were much appreciated, culminating in a driveway we're over the moon with. The final cost of the job was exactly as initially quoted. Highly recommended.
