    I couldn't really ask for much more in a builder; Paul from Remedy is incredibly skilled, very knowledgeable about his trade and really respectful of our space. He has done a few jobs for us over the years - he built us a beautiful plywood bookshelf. Nothing is too much trouble for Paul. I would highly recommend.

My name is Paul and I am a self-employed decorator, carpenter and general builder with over 25 years experience. I am conscientious, polite, hard-working, punctual and I'm proud of my attention to detail and my skills. I enjoy decorating, carpentry (big and small projects), plastering, landscaping, decking, kitchen fitting as well as all kinds of odd jobs.


I am the owner and author of The Building Sheriff (www.buildingsheriff.com) the UK's leading online building price guide and advice site. I co-wrote this in my spare time for the benefit of customers and the removal of pricing ambiguity.


I was GMTV's on screen building expert from 2006-2010 and was master builder on Channel 4's Renovation Game from 2011-2013. From 2013 to the present I have been head builder on Peter Andre's 60 Minute Makeover. Alongside these ventures, I have consistently run and enjoyed my building business.
