  John and his team installed our new driveway almost a year ago, which looked great and we were very happy with it. Apart from it taking approximately 10 weeks to complete because of the weather ( I would not recommend starting a driveway in December) everything went well. I would give an excellent review up to this point. Unfortunately a crack has appeared, I have contacted John on numerous occasions now and he stated he would come to inspect on 3 separate occasions over the past 5 weeks but has not turned up. I am now going to have to get the driveway repaired myself, hence the poor review.

  Excellent service by John and his workforce. Punctual, never stopped working in the extreme heat we were experiencing, polite and grateful for the refreshments. Good communication and all rubbish and debris disposed of. Would highly recommend them.

• Walked off the job

  We contracted this company to lay tiles in a garden room. They confirmed that the job would be completed before the Easter weekend, but when they arrived to start the job that changed and when I challenged the new time frame the owner got angry and just walked off the job. Suspiciously he had the entire amount of the deposit (£500) with him to just hand back, leaving us in the lurch. He did call me later in the day to offer to rearrange the job for in a few weeks time, but given his attitude that morning I declined.
