  What a brilliant company. Craig came to our property to look at my lead flashing around a chimney stack that was leaking badly. It was done 9 months ago by another company who wouldn’t come back. Craig explained what was wrong and what was needed to put right. He stripped it all back and started again from scratch. Not only does it look really good , it’s now water tight. Thoroughly recommend this company!

• Replacement of flat roof with GRP covering

  A replacement flat roof was requested in 2017, The work was carried out at to our satisfaction. However, the roof leaked, damaging the internal ceiling (2019). Initial repair did not cure the issue and resulted in the complete replacement of the roof and redecoration of ceilings (2021). In May 23 we noticed that the top surface was bubbling and cracking - very disappointing as the roof had a 25 year guarantee. Roofing First accepted that there was an issue which needed remedial work. Despite repeated attempts to contact the company we are still waiting for a resolution. 6 years on!

• We had a leaking Velux which had been looked at by other roofing companies but still leaked

  Craig has repaired an existing leak and also replaced other tiles to prevent the same thing occurring on another Velux in the same rook space. He has been professional throughout and the prices charged to complete the work to a really high standard are considerably less than other quotes we received. He also returned to check on his work and to ensure the leak had been fixed....after 2 years of continual leaks we now have a secure roof ....a excellent job all round!!!

• Refitting slipped roof tile.

  A big thank you to all of the team at roofing first. In a age when it is always so easy to complain when something goes wrong, I think it’s right to say thank you when the service is good. One phone call after the storms caused a tile to slip and they were onsite within 2 hours. No fuss and a sensible price. Will recommend to friends and family.
