  • Electrical Inspection- Failure to Provide Test Certificate / Inspection Report. Do not Use

    SS Electrical were engaged to replace the electrical distribution board, but advised an electrical test and inspection would be required in the first instance, which seamed reasonable. This was quoted for, with a clear deliverable of a test certificate / inspection report. A team came and carried out what appeared to be an electrical inspection, but would not disclose there initial findings; advising to expect a call within the week. Despite prompt payment of the invoice and repeated attempts to discuss the findings and take receipt of the report, SS Electrical continues to ignore my calls.

  • Replaced dead and stuck pull switch

    They rang back the same day I left a message, made an appointment which they kept, and replaced the switch quickly. They made sure to clean up any debris before leaving.

  • Warning charge for quotes!

    Following a second call out to fix a recuring fault we were told that more work was neded to tidy up some poorly installd cables. Asked for a quote and told £1500. Declined as felt this was too high. 3 months later recieved an invoice for second call out and also for the quote! Website says no charge for quotes also we were not told there was a charge for quotes - called to question this but not answering just keep gettgin more emails requestign payment.
