  Contacted Stuart as he had carried similar work for my daughter . My house is over a hundred years old and we phoned Stuart to give a price to remove the existing bath ,tiling and plumbing supply and fix new walk in shower. He came to the house , and advised on the best and suitable unit . He gave a date to start the work and how long it would take and said he would give give a price in two days which he did .The work took 4 days as he said and we were really impressed with the way he carried out the work and the quality of workmanship .

• Gas Safety Check - done at very short notice

  Stuart stepped in and did our gas safety check when we were let down by another contractor. He was excellent at responding to emails and quick to confirm a time which allowed us to stay compliant with regulations. Very friendly and professional throughout. I will definitely be using him in the further for any boiler or plumbing jobs.

• Central Heating Not Working

  My central heating and hot water system failed overnight. I called SJ King Plumbing through checkatrade this morning and he turned up this afternoon as agreed. It didn’t take him long to find out what the problem was and the heating is now working again. He also explained the whole process to me.

• New Boiler Fitting

  When servicing my boiler, the SJ King Team found a fault with my boiler that needed to be fixed. They were excellent at talking me through the options available, and potential costs. They initially recommended I got the boiler repaired under warranty - to save me money. However despite contacting the manufacturer several times, I didn't get any response or support to get it fixed. Therefore, I got back in contact with Steve and his team to get a totally new boiler installed - within 3 weeks it was all done. The team did a great job, great friendly service and helpful in talking it through

  Stuart was very proficient and professional in the work he carried out at my premises. He was a clean worker, and even came equipped with a Hoover to clear up any mess or debris ,of which there was very little.
