    Outstanding workmanship. The paintwork was in appalling condition - nothing was too much trouble and everything looks like new! Dave continued to clean up and make sure minimal disruption was caused. I cannot rate or thank Dave enough! I will definitely use Smart Ideas again without hesitation.

    David has now been with us a year and has now completed redecoration additional rooms including principal bedroom, dressing room, landing, stairwells and ceilings, totally transforming all the spaces. He continues to apply his usual high level of diligence, care, thoughtfulness and attention to detail for exceptional results. I've been a decorator for over 22 years and take a real pride in my work.

I am dedicated, flexible and able to cover all aspects of external and internal decorating required for domestic, commercial and the lettings markets. 

My aim is to leave all my clients happy with a top class finish at a reasonable rate.

Internal Decorating:

  • Removal and re-fitting of curtains/tracks/poles
  • Making good and preparation to walls and ceilings and woodwork prior to decoration
  • Offer advice to customers
  • Wallpaper hanging
  • Lining walls 
  • Experienced in all paints  
  • Take up and dispose of any unwanted carpet

External Decorating:

  • Arrange scaffolding if needed
  • Advise on paint etc
  • Making good and prepping all surfaces/windows including glass replacement and re-puttying

I always use dustsheets and leave everything clean and tidy on completion.
