  Dean impressed me from the beginning. He turned up on time and was very professional in his approach. He said the work would take around 8 days and he finished on time. He took great care in preparation before painting. He explained why he was using certain paints in detail. What I liked about his work and approach was that he seemed to take pride in the final finish. He also stated that he looks on a job as if he is painting his own home. I would highly recommend Dean in all aspects. Thank you. The flat looks terrific

• Repairs to wall and making good

  This is the second time we've had Dean in to decorate, though this job was a lot more complex as we had two big holes in the wall where a new wider front door with glass panels either side were fitted. He managed to overcome some pretty tough obstacles - we had parquet flooring which needed to be transplanted from elsewhere in the house to cover the gaps - and the results were superb. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and we will use him again as the house refub progresses.

• Replacement skirting and decorating

  We had replacement skirting board, making good walls and decorating done in three rooms, and a water leak stain in the kitchen addressed by Dean (and sidekick Mick). They were always prompt and friendly, and did a very neat and tidy job, as well as being very good value for money. We have quite a bit more decorating to do as we modernise the house and will definitely use Splash of Colour again.
