    Based on a neighbours recommendation, we had a replacement water softener installed by Thames Valley Water Softeners. John was very friendly and courteous from the first phone call to the installation, which was fast and done to a high standard. He was a pleasure to deal with and very professional. Would thoroughly recommend to others.

    I am so happy that I made the decision to have a water softener installed and I would highly recommend the guys at Thames Valley Softeners. From the initial meeting with John who is so knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He talked us through the process of how it works and the benefit of having one and then the costs involved and then a week later Neil the Plumber came to fit it. At the end he went through everything he’d done, how the softener works and how to change the salt. He left the kitchen spotless. A fantastic Family business I couldn’t recommend them enough.

    Had a problem with our softener giving a salt taste. Phoned John and explained what was happening, he quickly diagnosed what the problem could be. He came out later that day as the water level was too high and that could have been more of a problem. He is such a star as he got it sorted very quickly.

I'm John Boakes and I have traded as Thames Valley Softeners for over 20 years, both selling and hiring water softeners and filtration systems within a 20 mile radius of Wokingham.

We specialise exclusively in non-electric twin-cylinder systems such as TwintecS3 (Harvey) and Kinetico softeners on a supply and optional installation basis, offering both free trials and refurbishment of older units.

All our work is fully guaranteed for up to 10 years.
