Gas fire repair
0Verified ReviewUnreasonable charge by Crouches Plumbing and Heating for a job not completed. In summary they were contracted to repair a difficult to start gas fire, after 5 visits and the replacement of 4 separate components none of which were the fault. The job was abandoned by Crouchers and we were left with a fire in a worse condition than they started with. We were then presented with a £439.20 invoice comprising of £70 labour £296 for part + VAT. I feel a satisfactory rectification would be payment of the initial call out of £70 and the 1st replacement part.

10Verified ReviewAn engineer came out to check our boiler found to be faulty the price of repair was far to much for 28 year boiler, the engineer checked what heating we had which was only a gas fire in one room, came back a little later with two fan heaters, they came back within the week and fitted a new boiler flushed the radiators very clean and tidy, lovely warm bungalow now
