• Recover and replace engineered oak flooring.

  Robin was very easy to deal with and carried out replacement of a water-damaged engineered oak floor as per quote and in a timely manner. He also fitted threshold trims, pipe covers and was able to remove the existing skirting and re-fix it. All completed to a high standard . I would recommend Robin.

• Restore parquet flooring and floorboard replacement

  First job was to sand down, level and re-finish an area of parquet flooring in hallway - finished floor looks even better than I imagined it would. Second job was the replacement of an area of particleboard flooring with actual floorboards. The existing flooring was uneven and very creaky underfoot and Andy not only installed the boards but also went out of his way to remove, trim and re-lay a couple of additional boards that were rubbing together and causing some of the noise. So pleased with the work carried out by Timbertype, highly recommended!

• New flooring / skirting after a flood

  Robin and Tony were a real pleasure to work with. They fitted new flooring to almost the entire ground floor after we suffered a flood as well as new skirting to match. A living room, corridor, 2 bedrooms and a pantry. They worked incredibly hard, without rushing as well as being considerate and tidy. They both have a great eye for detail and the end result was amazing. We're really happy and would have them back anytime. • Engineering Wood Flooring

  Robin installed Engineered wooden flooring in our living room and hallway. He completed the job in a timely manner and was also able to remove the skirting carefully enough so that it could be put back on after the flooring was laid. We are really happy with the final result and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Robin to others or use his services again.

  I was fortunate enough to find Timbertype online and I have been extremely happy with Robin's professionalism and the quality of his work. He's been laying floors for a long time and it showed, as he was very competent and has done a fantastic job. The oak floor featured quite a complicated chevron and the iroko floor has an interesting pattern to it. Nothing phased Robin or the other members of his team. He was on budget, on time and was a pleasure to have around. I look forward to the fitting of the next floor. Give Timbertype a call, you will not be disappointed.
