    I had two rooms wallpapered which James has expertly done. He also did a lot of work in the bathroom getting rid of some mould, preparing the surface and using a specialist paint. He is always courteous and leaves the space as he finds it. Thank you so much James!

    James has done a range of jobs for us at our home and also at our rental properties. This has ranged from arranging scaffolding and then completing the repair and repainting of the woodwork and masonry of a three story Victorian home to the refresh of a cloakroom and bathroom. We have trusted him with keys and left him to complete works whilst we have been away. James does great work and is a pleasure to deal with. David

My name is James and I set up Top Finish with my dad in 2003. Thank you for taking the time to read my page. We offer free no obligation quotes and will always be honest with you about our prices. 

In our company we like to go the extra mile which makes all the difference, for example, removing and covering light switches and room appendages before painting around them instead of just cutting in and keeping paint off door hinges and handles. We appreciate that these items are not cheap and so we leave them in as good a condition as we found them. We will often poor paint through filter or sieve before applying to a surface to insure the very best finish. We will always leave your home clean and tidy during and at the end of the job. 

We prepare surfaces fully, putting primer on any areas that require repair before the repair is made so it bonds better, instead of using filler immediately. 

With a broad knowledge of products and materials and the understanding of prep work we can finish a job to a high standard and leave knowing it will last.
