• Herringbone floors with extensive soundproofing

  Jonathan was amazing. We were happy to find someone so knowledgeable to help us navigate our floor renovation and choose the right types of flooring to suit our needs. Jonathan replaced our entire subfloor, installed a new engineered wood herringbone floor, and put in extensive soundproofing. He was on time and communicative throughout the entire process, from our initial conversations right through to the final installation. We couldn't be happier with our new floor.

We particularly appreciated his prompt and professional communications and his ability to clearly explain how it would be possible to carry out parts of the work that we were worried about, like fitting around the existing kitchen units.   Replacing the flooring in my flat required fitting new planks and transitions, trimming exterior + interior doors and replacing the skirting. Jonathan's quote was very competitive and as I'd seen the work he'd done in a neighbours property I was confident that he'd do a good job. Work started on the date we'd agreed and took the time estimated. Jonathan came equipped with all the right tools for the job and worked efficiently and pretty much non-stop. The finished work is high quality and the few snags I found were fixed immediately. He also removed the waste which saved me that job.

  It’s difficult to find good tradesmen so Jonathan is a find! Nice chap who did a good job at a reasonable price! Arrived on the day agreed and started on time. Did a very nice job and he took away the rubbish afterwards.

  Jonathan is amazing. Extremely talented, a true artist at work. The attention to detail is flawless. We are in a 1930s house and didnt want to lift the skirting so he undercut and fitted. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy. He is a true gentleman and the pride he takes in his work is exceptional. Herringbone fitted over 50m^2. I couldnt recommend him enough.

  Jonathan was very helpful and was able to advise on practical options for levelling very uneven, creaky and sloping floors. He was then very efficient and did an excellent job levelling the floors back to the joists, laying a new subfloor, and a new wooden floor. He was reliable and practical throughout. Very pleased with the end results.
