  Richard and Archie were working across the road from my house so asked them for a quote to repair the unsightly damage from the previous owner backing there car into the front of the house, and to tidy up the rest of the front as all was in need of repointing. Being a woman on my own I am wary of builders but they gave me a good price, and explained everything that they would be doing. There work is outstanding and my house now looks amazing! Would highly recommend them to anyone and already wanting them to do another job for me. Two of my neighbours have also requested quotes. Thank you!

• Pointed wall.

  In late Feb, with dramatic rain shower, they managed to do a very good job pointing our remaining wall. Nice people, would use them again if the need arise. Very tidy.

• Garage Wall Repair

  Richard and his son repaired our garage wall to a very high standard. We had a quote from our insurance companies contractor and felt that they were taking advantage of us. Richard quoted us what seemed like a fair price so we settled our insurance claim and booked FRS to carry out the repair. Richard and Archie turned up when they said that they would and completed the job for the quoted price in the time that Richard suggested it would take. Their work looks very neat and they left the garage cleaner than it was when they arrived. We would definitely book their services again.

• Repointed Gable Wall

  FRS are everything you could hope for in a trade; you can see they take real pride in their work. We were kept informed throughout and they went above and beyond with the job, even completing several extras free of charge to see that it was done perfectly. They highlighted a couple of other issues that they recommended we get addressed. We paid a small amount extra for them to complete these additionals but at no point did we feel pressured into this. Richard and Archie were fantastic and we could not recommend them highly enough. [Shame they are Pompey FC fans though!]

• Re pointing garden wall

  Richard and Archie have done a magnificent job of re pointing my 200 year old brick wall, using lime mortar. The wall is transformed and looks like it may last another 200 years! They were both courteous and reliable. I would not hesitate to recommend them highly.

• Repointing front of bungalow and roof valleys

  Richard gave a competitive quote which he stuck too and carried out an excellent job in repointing the front of our bungalow and the roof valleys above the bay window. He was professional , friendly and polite throughout and we shared some good football memories as he was working. Richard was reliable and diligent and repaired some scruffy parts of the brick work as well as the repointing and offered advice for any after care etc. Overall very good job and highly recommended , my neighbour has already obtained a quote after seeing his work which has improved the look of our home .
