    I give Jonathan and Vertaproof the very highest recommendation. I contacted Jonathan due to evidence of rats in kitchen cupboard and utility room. Jonathan promptly visited, carried out a thorough survey of the exterior and interior of the property. He identified multiple entry points, a bad infestation. A difficult job but Jonathan was willing to take it on. The standard of his work is exceptional. Jonathan dug out and blocked all entry points and fitted new air brick covers. He has vast knowledge and expertise. Showed regard for the wellbeing of myself and my dogs. Problem sorted.

  • Preventing rat access to cavity walls

    Jonathan had his work cut out excavating a path to access the lintel above a waste pipe and fill in holes to prevent rats accessing the cavity walls. All work was carried out in a tidy manner and photos taken so I could see the before and after. Jonathan is passionate about what he does and communicates well so you know exactly what he is doing and why. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

I'm Jonathan and I've worked in the pest control industry since 2016.


I have established Vertaproof to bring sustainable wildlife and pest management solutions to clients throughout Hampshire and West Sussex.  


I strongly believe in prevention over pesticides, focusing on solving the issue long term where possible.


In most cases, steps can be put in place to prevent pest related issues, which limits the need for pesticides in the environment.


However, treatment is also provided as part of the service, should it be required.

Solar Panel proofing quotes can be provided, but please be aware, most solar panels will require a scaffold to be in place for health and safety reasons.
