I phoned the company on the 12/11/20 to see if they could do the work.  They said yes, but couldn't start it until 6am the next morning.  This was fine.  I got a call from the owner that evening telling me it was a big job 4-5 hours.  Knowing what the damage was it really shouldn't have taken longer than 3 hrs, but as long as I could leave by dinner to collect my load , it was fine.  On the day they then told me it wont be ready until 3pm.  Which meant I had to let my customer down.  When it come to payment they tried to charge me £650.   After arguing my point they came down to £450.  Still way to much, but they wouldn't let the trailer go until I paid, so I had no choice.  Inside the trailer the wire from the light that was broken was still not fixed.  I told the manager this, he said ' I didn't know you wanted this fixing'.  Why wouldn't I need everything fixing that I was paying for.
