  House martins roofing were very prompt to reply to my query and come for a visit to inspect the issue. They works were completed to a good standard with photos supplied to show the works completed. They were also great at keeping me informed through the process of getting the works done.

• Replacing flat roof on porch

  The flat roof on our porch room was leaking and we were advised to replace as the previous contractor from many years ago had not fitted the asphalt correctly and had come away from the house wall causing ingress of water. A replacement roof was fitted and we are very happy with the service and price and the roof is now watertight and a 10 year guarantee provided

  Martin and his team replaced our slate roof at short notice after it started leaking. They worked through freezing conditions to get the work done on a tricky roof which we hugely appreciated. From the moment Martin came to give us a quote we felt like we were in safe hands and his team were great. We would highly recommend them.

  We were very impressed with the service provided by Martin and his team, after obtaining several quotes to remove our two chimney stacks, the price quoted was fair, they were reliable and polite, the job was completed quickly and we are pleased with the standard of work.Would definitely use them for any future roofing issues and would recommend if you want a local reliable roofing company.

• Guttering

  We received a quote which was ambiguous. We got stung. To replace one piece of guttering that took 2.5 hours got charged £590. Thought might include VAT. Not VAT REGISTERED. And got no breakdown for parts and labour. No written guarantee details. When I disputed this, I didnt get a response for weeks and then just got chased for payment. No customer service whatsoever. Now saying I’m a bad payer and says he will send his men to remove said guttering. 3 professional roofers have confirmed it would be no more than £300. Is it a case of hoodwink elderly people and charge a lot. Dont use them!
