    Karl is a superstar! Within an hour or so of me making the enquiry, he came over to see the chair and took it away for repair. He returned it within a couple of days - half an hour after calling to say it was done. His charge was very reasonable, and he has restored a very rickety chair into a fully functional one again. Can't recommend him highly enough!
