• Replace watermain under driveway

  The Lanes Mains team turned up to site 2 hours late, looked at the site but didn't do any work. Indicated that they were uncomfortable with the quote they provided, and then without further feedback, drove off never to return. Didn't return any of my calls. Very unprofessional and very rude, wasted 2 hours of my time on the day, I had waited a month for this work to be completed.

• Repair burst water main

  Lucus from Lanes Mains attended promptly and under difficult circumstances carried out a repair to a split water main service pipe in our sloping front garden. He was professional in his approach and kept us informed as to the progress of the repair. Once completed, he tidied up and left the garden in a serviceable state. Overall I was very happy with the service and will have no hesitation in using or recommending them again.

• Replacing rising water main

  Joe Lane, the proprietor, visited site and provided (by far) the best price for the job- to locate and replace an 18-metre leaking mains water supply pipe and to complete in a day which was done. Great job by Daniel and team in rain most of the day. The speed with which the 'mole' travelled was impressive, only three holes were needed, one under sandstone paving which was lifted and relayed without any damage. No mini digger needed ! Water off for less than an hour. The team were cheerful, professional, hard working and polite throughout despite getting very wet and dirty. Thoroughly recommended.

• Emergency repair on underground main water pipe.

  After noticing water rising through our lawn, I found Lanes Mains on Checkatrade and called for assistance. I accepted the fixed price quotation and Joe arranged for his team led by Daniel to call later that day. They arrived during a very heavy downfall of rain and after politely introducing themselves they set about excavating and repairing the high pressure water leaks. Despite the rain they completed the work during the afternoon and cleared up after themselves. I can recommend this company.

  Joe provided me with much needed reassurance that his company knew exactly what to do to fix my water leak. With the original lead piping, he advised and explained how it would be completely replaced with an updated pipe material and that the upheaval would be minimal which it was. Joe and his team were very punctual,polite, professional, and started immediately. They were also happy to answer my questions.! It was all done in remarkable time and the house and driveway left as they found it. His pricing was very fair for the work done and he's clearly a very decent human being!! ?? thanks!
