    Having done a damp survey, Martin established rising damp on 3 walls caused by layers of patio slabs that breached the damp course, so corrected the French drain to the back perimeter of our house, repaired the external render and re-painted it and attended to damp from a leak internally. Martin and his son worked quickly, removed all east abd went above and beyond the quote. We were really happy with the work and results.

Hello. My name's Martin. I have been in the building industry for 40 years. I have worked for myself for 35 of those and am still going strong. We specialise in damp proofing, rising damp, penetrating damp & ventilation on old and modern property's. We are TRI-CREAM advanced D.P.C Injection System Approved. 

Refresh Property Damp Proofing Specialise in: 

  • Wet rot: under floor voids and all timber supports. 
  • Wood Worm: Any effected arrears in the timber we spray, or we can remove & replace infected arrears.
  • Dry Rot: This can be found in floors, ceilings & roof timbers.
  • Rising Damp: Signs to look out for Tide marks on the walls, cracked flaking plaster, peeling wallpaper or paint.
  • Black Mould: This can be signs of bad venting in the roof, soffits & walls and can be a Health Hazard.
  • Penetrating Damp: This occurs when rendering is cracked or brick work pointing has perished.  
  • Roof & chimney Damp: Lead Flashing emplacement, render or brick work repairs & Venting.
  •  Drainage prevents damp: We supply & install upvc drainage & French drains.   
  • Damp Course injecting systems & water proofing coating systems.


We have all the trades needed to undertake most, if not all, jobs. I will still give you advice and try and solve the problem you may have with your project and that goes for big or small jobs.
