  repair to window sill and french doors frame

  Ian repaired damaged wood in a window sill by splicing in some new wood. And using wood + epoxy to repair some damaged wood in a french door frame. Both repairs are wonderful and the it's hard to notice there was ever a repair done! Just a small job. But Ian took his time to do a good repair and was a pleasure to deal with.

  Refurbishment of Windows

  Ian refurbed all our windows, replaced cracked panes & hardwood sills. He was brilliant from start to finish. The work looks amazing, we are thrilled with the change to our home. Ian was lovely, we couldn’t have asked for someone better to be in our home.

  Sash Window Full Reconditioning

  Ian was always prompt and courteous, and careful to ensure that he cleaned up after finishing each day. The windows were all carefully worked on, and were given a full reconditioning - from new cords where there weren't any and weights to ensure each window worked as it should do - even if for years they did not open at all. As icing on the cake, all the window furniture (locks, etc) were replaced with new ones. I highly recommend hiring Ian (and his son!).

  Replacement of 12 sash windows for new wooden double glazed units

  Ian replaced 12 of our original timber sash windows with new timber double glazed units with additional draught proofing measures. Ian first came over to provide a quote, in which he reviewed all our windows thoroughly and explained the process to us and answered any questions. Ian worked hard for three weeks to replace all the windows in turn. He was polite, clean and tidied up every day, covering up furniture to protect from dust. When he left you almost couldn't tell he had been. We're very happy with the result and highly recommend Ian to others.

  Excellent service! Great quality refurb of our very old and tired sash windows, bought back to life by Ian’s great care and craftsmanship. We had some shutters installed, which caused our sash windows to later jam. Ian saved the day but turning up very quickly to resolve the issue. Punctual, clean and respectful, highly recommend.
