Flat Roof Replacement

The work was completed however the pricing and charging were not transparent.  I was not provided with a written estimate despite asking on 3 separate occasions before work started.  I was assured the best tiles would be used however materials invoices were not provided to prove the quality of materials so I am left doubting the quality of the tiles.  Hours attributed to the job could not be accounted for.

I had an urgent job that required repairing a flat roof. Another roofing comps had suggest replacing the roof altogether but William had a more pragmatic approach and repaired the damage only. I am pleased with the work - they are a professional and polite team. This is the second time I have used this company and have no hesitation to reconnect to others.

Needed a patch of roof repaired and after being told by another company I needed a whole new roof I contacted King's Roofing for a quote.  Upon arrival I was instantly told a few battens needed replacing not a whole roof.  Even after showing the roof timbers on the inside I was told this was repairable with no issues.  The quote was very reasonable and the guys did the work in a mixture of rain and sun.  New felt, replacing rotten battens and making good a previous repair.  Communication was excellent with detailed photos of the work, new installed felt and showing me the old battens.  Really happy

Kings responded to my request very quickly and completed the work less than 2 days after I initiated contact.  They were very friendly and professional and did a very good job, extending their work to cover other faults they found for no extra charge.

This is the second time I’ve used Kings roofing for fascia’s and Soffits plus Roof repairs (previous time was on old house).  In my experience family run business are better than large companies.  Called him on a Thursday and the team were around the following day.  I was very lucky to get the job done so quickly as William delayed on current job.  Kings Roofing did a great a great job of taking down the gutters and cleaning, sanding down and repainting the fascia’s and couple of roof repairs.  Williams is very transparent on costs and the team are very polite, tidy and professional.  Recommended!

Really recommend Robert.  He’s really a decent chap.  Lovely fella who turns up on time, fitted us in quickly to stop a leaking chimney and remove it.  Also came back to fix some guttering and is such a decent bloke we will use again very soon.  Good work ethic and great workmanship. Mike and Jackie worked quickly and efficiently to clear the guttering and downpipes, as well as doing some repointing on the chimney and ridge tile.  In addition, the flashband on the conservatory was replaced to prevent rain ingress.

Urgent Roof Repairs

Michael assisted by Jackie removed low quality defective lead flashing and crumbling mortar and replaced these with new grade code 4 lead flashing and the correct mix of mortar.  Additionally , they attached a new collar to the base of the soil pipe and painted the whole pipe.  A defective short rainwater down pipe was replaced with one of the correct length. John had to tile a hole in our roof, after the chimney was removed.  This was made more difficult, as finding the right size, was a problem, as the original roof tiles were 100 years old.  Several workarounds were required, as well as trying to find a supply of suitable reclaimed tiles.  This involved several extra visits to the site and reworking, which John did without complaint and with good humour.  We were happy enough to recommend him to a neighbour, who also seems happy with his professionalism and attention to detail and he starts work on her roof next week

After I called John about the leak in our roof, he visited promptly, provided a totally accurate quote, came round very soon afterwards to carry out the work (for which he needed no scaffolding which was a relief).  He replied/replaced several roof slates, and was also able to repair our leaky guttering which was excellent - John immediately sent me clear pictures of all the work (as it was hard to see without going up the ladder!) so I could see how well it was done before I paid.  Thanks so much John, would highly recommend you to anyone else in need of roof/guttering work!  A skilled workman.
