I received a site visit and inspection.  Agreed what was required.  I received a quote later by email.  The work was carried out very professionally and to a high standard. Everything was left clean and tidy afterwards.

I put my job on check a trade and got a call from Mainlink Maintenance the next day. They arranged for a manager to come out to inspect the job and the work was started all within a week. The job was done to a great standard, really quickly and it was super easy to make payment. I will be using mainlink for any further jobs that need doing and would recommend them for sure!

Bathroom re grout and seal

The company completed the job for the price quoted on an itemised estimate.  All Mainlink staff completed their tasks diligently, on time with good attention to detail.  However, the flooring was subcontracted to Spartan Flooring who did the job very hurriedly and in one area the vinyl was cut short, leaving a gap between the vinyl and the tiling trim.  They left site quickly, leaving it to the plumber to sort out.  The gap was filled with silicone but I'm concerned that this will be an ongoing maintenance issue.

As my partner is now wheelchair bound and we wanted to stay in our own home it was necessary to alter stairs, raise floor and install a wet room which made upstairs on one level, instead of 3.  Neil and the team were brilliant in carrying out the work, making sure that my partner was consulted every step of the way so that everything worked around him.  All of the different trades were first class and we're delighted with the work done.  Everything they said would be done was and to a high standard.  Thanks to Neil and the team and also the girls in the office.  Nothing was too much trouble.

Wetroom/stairs altering and raising floor level

Really happy with end result, looks lovely.  Neil was brilliant very tidy workman.  Things that could have gone better.  Job was to start Monday 4th March, I had taken half day holiday to let workman in, supposed to be there for 8.30am, by 9am and no sign I called the office.  Was told that the van of the worker was in the garage and he wouldn't be starting until the following day.  Although apologetic I should have received a call telling me this, not me having chase it.   On survey, missed the fact there was a router.Cost additional £160 for it to be moved.  Expensive for 30 mins work

Very clean and tidy from start to finish.  All workmen polite and helpful.  All work completed on time and any queries answered quickly.  Very pleased with new walk in shower.

Shower to replace bath

Promised us they would sort everyting out for us.  Communication was dreadful!  Couldnt deliver on their promise and we had to drop them and get somebody else as we didnt want to have to re-do more of thier work.  Very disappointing.  Very unprofessional.  Have video and photo evidence to back up their shoddy work.  Please dont get tricked by their sell of how good they are.....stay away!

Interior design gone wrong

They were great company they came out did a decent quote and did the work really quickly.  They cleaned up after which was great and were very professional.  I will be using them again thank you

New guttering

Contacted Gerrard Interiors having used them for several jobs in the past.  As ever they were extremely reliable and were able to fix our toilet within 24 hours of me first contacting them.  Absolute lifesavers as we had a party the following day and were desperate to have a working downstairs loo!  Plumber was courteous throughout and not only cleared the blockage but put right a flaw he discovered from the original install (by a different company) which hopefully means we won’t suffer further blockages in the future.

Ally Engineering where a phenomenal company to work with for my bathroom refit. From they start they had already planned out what was asked and are always happy to discuss your thoughts on the project and try their best to fufill all requests. During their time here they had an amazing work ethic, self sefficient and always cleaned up after themselves everyday. They were well mannered, even taking their shoes off when going into any rooms that weren't being worked on aswell as communicating when water was going on or off and anything else. We received a fantastic top class service from Mal and his colleagues on our bathroom project.  The whole team were approachable, helpful and went to great lengths to ensure the wet room transformation was a success.  We approached Ken Beard and Son for a quote to remodel a bathroom for my dad whose Parkinson’s disease is progressing.  We had no vision other than the remodel needed to be future proofed and we didn’t want the space to have a “hospital” feel.  Mal gave a great deal of consideration to come up with a solution to meet Dad’s current and future needs.

Mal and Sarah completely undertook the whole of the renovation of our bathroom with the utmost respect, care and professionalism.  The whole room was stripped right out including the floor and the transformation began.  They knew exactly what we wanted and we never had to worry about anything just left them to it. Complete Renovated Bathroom

Ken Beard and Son have just completed an excellent refit of the bathroom and replacement of part of the kitchen ceiling for an elderly relative.  From start to finish, Mal and Sarah undertook this project in a very professional way.  The work was started and finished to the agreed schedule.  Mal and his team stripped the room back to the bare walls and created a brand new bathroom.  Mal and Sarah kept us informed on progress, including sending photographs.  All the people whom Mal employed were courteous and and friendly.  We would unhesitatingly recommend Ken Beard and Son.

Bathroom Refit

Mal carried out work for my disabled mother and was exemplary at every stage of the process.  Despite being v.  Busy with work he took time to fit her in for a shower enclosure/bathroom refit with shower seat/rails to enable her to wash safely.  Prior to this she had had several falls trying to get into the bath.   Mal took time to explain the work to my mother, what was being done and kept her reassured at every stage of the process.  He took care to keep waste and mess to a minimum and made sure to tidy up at end of each working day.   I would recommend them to anybody wanting quality work done

Professional, efficient and so friendly.  We actually missed them when work completed.  We were consulted every step of the way.  Unexpected defects were unearthed but smoothly rectified without fuss.  Our bathroom was stripped back, plastered, floor and walls tiled, new suite repositioned and walk in shower fitted.  New radiator and lights fitted, walls and ceiling painted.  Distribution kept to a minimum and everything left clean and tidy.  I would certainly recommend them and would not hesitate to give them work again in the future!
