Excellent work from Michael, arrived on time, kept the house clean and tidy whilst working, ensured we knew how to paint the plaster once dried!

Michael was professional and helpful from start to finish. Michael arrived punctually and fully explained the options to complete the work. We agreed a time frame for the work to be completed and Michael updated me throughout. Even though it was only a small job Michael took great pains to complete the work to the highest standard. I am very pleased with the work carried out by Michael and if I require plastering work again I wouldn't hesitate to contact Michael.

Plastering over Artex

Michael was very professional throughout.  Arrived to view the proposed works at the time he agreed he would and provided a formal quote the following day.  Michael was helpful, sharing his knowledge on how best to prepare the surfaces for a better finish and was very responsive to questions I had prior to the work starting.  Michael arrived to complete the work when agreed and ensured he put protectors on our flooring, fixtures and fittings.  All of which was included in the price.  The work is a high standard and Michael has advised he will return should we have any problems.  Highly recommend.

Michael was great.  After being let down by another plasterer, Michael stepped in.  He turned up when he said he would, completed the work quickly and cleaned up after himself. Liam and his colleague did a great job in our house last week (May 2024). They were punctual, polite, tidy and professional. Liam was happy to answer any questions in advance of the work being done and we had good communication throughout. We’re very  pleased with the overall result and to say goodbye to those artex ceilings! We’ll definitely be getting the team back to do other work for us and can highly recommend for any plastering jobs.

Excellent work

Excellent workmanship, reliable and trustworthy .  I am delighted with the quality of the extensive wok Griffin Plastering has recently done in my house.  Liam turned up on time , was tidy , kept me informed of work progress, helped me plan what to do next and I was totally happy to give him my key when I was away.  Couldn’t be more happy with finished job.  I would highly recommend Griffin plastering.

Renovation

Liam and John were really fantastic.  We needed a lot of work, with huge moisture /damp issues across the whole property.  With this being our first renovation, we needed guidance and advice.  That was sometimes hard to hear -- but Liam always advised us of all options, gave us full control, and the price never changed.  We did not feel lied to or ripped off with our inexperience.  They were always on time, kind, no swear words!!, worked way beyond the hours of "usual tradesmen types" .  The work was done extremely well.  They were often left in our home alone for hours.  We trust them completely.

Ben was prepared to take on this outdoor job when we had struggled to get anyone else to respond.  He fitted in the multiple stages during other larger jobs.  He did a good job on what seemed a difficult task.  We would use him for jobs.

Ben was fab and has spent a lot of time on evenings and weekends to get the job done.  The job turned out to be a bigger job than we all initially thought but Ben made sure he got the job done to a high standard which we really appreciated.  He has taken the time to explain to us what he is doing and has always kept us up to date with progress.  His prices were fair for the quality work that was produced.  Thanks so much, Ben :) we will be using him again should we need any more work, and will definitely recommend him to others.

Replastering

Ben did a great job at very short notice after an escape of water above the kitchen. The job was carried out to a very high standard and he kept a very tidy work area at a reasonable cost. I would not hesitate in recommending or using him again .

Excellent service carried out within a week of arranging.  Area left as clean and tidy as possible and brought dust sheets to cover route in.  Would definitely recommend and use again.

Plastering hall, stairs and landing

Ben arrived as arranged and worked tirelessly in a very difficult and confined space.  We required plastering of both ceiling and walls, and It was by no means an easy space to plaster.  However Ben did a fantastic job and needless to say we are extremely pleased with the finished result.  Would be happy to recommend Ben and will certainly get him back if we need further work done……

External wall insulation & Rendering

Rgs Rendering Systems Ltd

Gavin at RGS was able to promptly attend the property and provide a no-obligation quote which we found to be good value for money.

I had the wall insulated and then covered with a silicone render to improve the thermal efficiency of the house and provide for a water-resistant covering.

Gavin and his team were great throughout, keeping me updated as to when they would return (the Welsh weather doesn't always play ball!), and being meticulous in their clean up once the job was complete.

I would not hesitate to recommend RGS and will definitely be using them again in future.

External wall Insulation and Rendering

We had a damp problem and had Gav come around and take a look, he initially said he didn't believe re rendering would fix the issue and instead suggested getting a damp specialist round to give their opinion - we loved his honesty and instantly felt like he cared about fixing the issue and not just his pay check! 
The damp specialists indicated they thought the render needed replacing as first priority, the job was done in a fast and professional manner to a high standard!
At a later date we noticed a drain had some pebbledash in from the work, Gav promptly came around and fixed the issue

Contacted Gavin before Xmas for a job on my sons house & he quoted us with no delays. Delay our end so recontacted Gavin in late March & agreed a date.

Gavin kept to dates & did a fine job, couldn't finish all of it due to the weather but came back as promised & came back again to clear the rubbish away as well - mentioning that as I have had a lot of work done on my house & my son's recently & have been amazed how much I have been left with to get rid of.
 
Had a few people not come back to do the last bits which is annoying
