D & P Upholstery

Welcome to our Checkatrade page. D&P Upholstery was established in the September of 1977. We are proud to say that all our staff are highly experienced and produce upholstery to the highest standard.

We are located in the Low Fell area of Gateshead, on Old Durham Road.  We are very easy to find. 

We undertake domestic and contract upholstery work which includes the following:

• Soft furnishings
• Recovering window seats
• Recovering cushion covers.
• Re-upholstering domestic sofas and chairs with fabrics from our many suppliers

Our customers are more than welcome to call in to our shop to look through the many pattern books we have on view. All of our work is done on site and you can see us working our magic on whichever piece of furniture we are currently doing. 

Over the years we have also built up a good working relationship with many interior designers, builders, architects, councils and universitie. We have produced furniture for pasqualinos restaurant at the theatre royale newcastle.  chesterfield sofas for harvard university USA.  A zebra skin sofa for a client in Abu Dhabi. We have even made a sofa for Mark Owen from take that.
