I was very impressed with the fire doors Jack installed, he was on time and very neat and tidy - which I’m not used to with tradesmen.  I left Jack in the house to complete the doors whilst I was at work, he let me know through out the day how he was getting on and when he had left.  I would definitely recommend.

Fitted bespoke office cupboards

Sam was really helpful from the outset.  Giving really good advice about the work that needed to be done.  The quality of his work was absolutely brilliant, very thorough, friendly and professional Would highly recommend!

Re decorated and re hung /fitted new doors.

Sam was extremely punctual and a very nice chap.   On his first visit he asked all the right questions and showed he was capable and enthusiastic about delivery a good job, he also gave us the best quote and ultimately made us feel he was best option.   During the build he was extremely punctual, even on days where we had heavy snow and ice.  He did an excellent job, and went back over things to ensure they were perfect - he is a clearly skilled.  He didnt make a big mess, always tied up after himself and was a pleasure to have in the house.  I would have Sam back again for other carpentry jobs.

Infill stairs and build understairs storage cupboards

Sam was very polite and punctual.  He used a tarpaulin outside so he could easily keep the drive clean, protected the carpets and hoovered/swept up every evening.  He was also very careful not to let our dog escape!  The workmanship was excellent and we are very pleased.  He was happy to advise on other woodworking aspects such as staining for me to do later!!

Internal doors replaced and stairs clad

Sam fitted internal door fitted shelves in a wardrobe and installed new sliding doors.  Built and painted shelves and cupboards under stairs and also in an alcove.  He has boxed in pipes and above bedroom doors inserted and painted wooden panels and fitted a loft ladder.  He has filled cracks in walls prepared and painted Coving ceilings walls doors skirting and banisters in 3 Bedrooms hall stairs landing and porch.  All Sam’s work has been carried out to the highest standards and he has great attention to detail.  He is professional polite respectful tidy and punctual.  His services are understandably in great demand.

I contacted Liam and he was able to visit my home to review the job I had.  I needed floorboards to be corrected as they were very creaky.   Liam was able to visit 4 days later and fix the floorboards in a couple of hours.  He was very polite, courteous and a good craftsman.  We would definitely recommend him.

CAWDEX CARPENTRY LTD

Cawdex came to price up a kitchen from ikea. They used their own reliable tradesman to complete the electrical, plumbing and plastering work. 
They were professional, on time, listened to any alterations I wanted, could sort out issues with the design to ensure I was happy. 

As a single parent it was important that I could trust them and know they could be trusted. They promised they would take care of me and they kept their word. Would highly recommend them. 

Kitchen fitted 

Cawdex priced up for a new kitchen, listened to and undertook the adaptation's I wanted. They Arrived on time, were professional, reliable and I trusted them (being a single parent with a teenage child) to work whilst I wasn't there. 
They were able to bring in tradesmen they trust to do the plastering, plumbing and electrical work so my new kitchen was done within 2 weeks. 
I was dreading having a new kitchen due to the upheaval and time it takes, but Cawdex were brilliant and could see how anxious I was so talked me through each day and what they intended to do. I would highly recommend them

We have a period property with a large wooden sash bay window which was rotten and damaged.  Jack repaired the window and replaced the damaged parts with new.  The window now looks great, good as new.  Great job.
