Moving house 

The company appeared to be very professional and efficient before the supposed removal date, however the reality was completely the opposite. Our time slot for our move was 9am to 10am. At 10am when we had heard nothing I contacted any van and was told that the driver could no longer do the job and they were searching for another driver and hopefully we would be able to move that day. We were all packed and waiting the money had been swapped and the new person was coming in at midday. After numerous phone calls we got nowhere at all and at 120clock we decided to do the move ourselves. Shocking

Disgusting service

First time I've used a removal service. The guys who came out were very professional and took good care of our item's. They were very patient when they had to wait in the van for nearly 2 hrs until we could get in the house. They also moved some trees in large pots which my husband thought he might have to leave behind.

I recently had the misfortune of using Anyvan for a moving job, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. Firstly, they quoted me one price, but upon completion, they charged significantly more without any valid explanation. It felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic.

Secondly, their disregard for punctuality is astounding. The movers arrived almost six hours late, causing a cascade of scheduling issues and inconvenience.

To add insult to injury, the driver threatened to abandon the job unless I paid additional fees on the spot, creating an incredibly stressful situation.

The person who did the job was fantastic. 
Just a note : I had sent the company pics of the items that needed moving and I think thyley should pass them onto the driver as it is useful for them so they know what to expect (makes their job easier). I didn't have any issues but I've known people pick up things that weren't scheduled for.

Collecting king-size mattress 

Very satisfied with this experience, very good communication before the day and then the tracking meaning I could get on with my day.  The van turned up on time, and the load went like clockwork.  Accurate tracking for the delivery and made sure I was happy where everything was left.  I have no hesitation in recommending and will certainly use them again next time.

Large Items Move

Great service on time the driver was very  polite and helpful and smart. Would recommend this company and very competitive prices and kept me updated when and where they were on the delivery.   


Moving some furniture to my son

Contacted them on their website. I wanted them to collect a small 2 seater couch and deliver to my flat. (2 mile).  I transferred £16 deposit and never heard from them again. They keep me on hold every time I call!  Never again use this company!!!!

From first contact to completion of move, they were fantastic.  Quick to reply and provide a very reasonable quote.  Nigel, Gav and Jack were amazing on the day of our move; turned up promptly, packed up carefully -looking after our belongings/furniture and efficiently unpacked at the new house.  Incredibly friendly and nothing too much trouble.  Could not have moved without them!!

The team arrived on time and were very professional and friendly.  The process from start to finish was seemless.  A competitive price made it an even better all round experience.  I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Moving furniture in advance of building work

This is the the second time we have used B&W to move house.  Each time they have been very reasonably priced and have provided an extremely professional and reliable service.  Gavin, Jack and Nigel took such great care with all of our belongings, were polite, calm and nothing was too much trouble.  They delivered boxes in advance for us to pack up and made the move day easy by dismantling and reassembling our furniture.  They also moved all of our drawers full saving lots of time and Haarlem.  We can’t thank them enough and would use B&W again without hesitation.

They were recommended to me by a friend who had also used them, and I want to pass that recommendation on to others in Manchester and Stockport as they made a stressful day far more manageable.
