Filling to do around the border as the dado rail was taken off and prepared the walls were was necessary. 

All masked up around the doors and coving to get clean line's as it's such dark paint.

The finshed look quite striking with the darkness of the paint, windows done as well.

Painting job

As you can see there was alot of rot which needed cutting out and then had to find the right thickness of wood to replace and match to the original wood used.

This was cut out using a multi saw machine, once exposed i could see more was needed to be cut out.

Your preparation is key to creating a great finish, masking up takes alot of time but it's essential to a clean job, then use a blade to take of any paint on the glass.

As you can see the replacement of wood worked out well and then filled to hide any repairs.

Putting in the foundations with MOT type1 to create a solid foundation for the slabs to sit on.

MOT type1 finished to the right level ready to start putting down cement for the slabs, it's really important that you cement the intire area under the slabs so that you don't get any cracking.

I finished the edge's off with a render to cover the brickwork.

We needed old stone window sills, exterior walls and metal railings repainted and brought up to date. Most people would have done a little sanding back and put on a couple of coats and be done. Rob did a brilliant job taking decades of old paint off and back to the original fittings, and then coat after coat of new paint for a very smart and quality finish. Very happy with the work done, and look forward to getting Rob in for more work in future.

Robert cleared our large loft space, added loft insulation, and built out a very large difficult to access stud wall with insulation and plasterboard.  The job was really heavy going as the loft had not been touched for decades and was full of junk, water tanks, pipes etc.  Robert was excellent.  He was super reliable, kept us informed how things were going at all times, takes pride in his work, which was very neat and tidy, and worked relentlessly.  Highly recommend.
