Russell did a superb job for us.  He is reliable, friendly and kept us fully informed throughout the work. I wanted 22 metres of our worn-out garden fencing replacing - looked up 3 suppliers - all previously unknown to me - they came came with 3 quotes, all similarly priced. What impressed me about J M Brickwork was the speed with which they came on a site visit, the low-key way in which they described how they proposed to answer my needs, the photos they sent of other work they had done similar to my job. They took just over a day and a half, leaving everything tidy. There were two men on site - working well as a team, clearly at home with each other, and enjoying the work. I am so pleased.

Tye completed a quote and I booked the work with him.  Work was completed in a timely manor.  I had more work for him to complete and wanted other quotes.  Unfortunately Tye took my new extension lead costing £40 with him when packed up and although he agreed to return the next day )on the 7th December) it still hasn’t been returned to me and now any message I send is ignored.  I was asking over a month.

A good team of hard workers. Very careful to understand what we wanted, explained everything, cleaned up well behind themselves each day. Very happy with the job.

Tye provided a prompt quote and outlined the work to be carried out for the repointing of gable end wall, garage wall and chimney.  Work commenced on the agreed date and was carried out to an excellent standard.  Site always kept clean and tidy.  I would highly recommend Tye and Southcoast Pointing

Needed a wall pointed to stop damp coming in.  Ty was prompt with a quote and once agreed got on with work quickly.  The weather wasn’t great and access was restricted but work done well and s quickly as the elements allowed.  Highly recommended.

Great attention to detail, he took the time to match mortar colour so repair did not standout.  Quote was good value for money and true to final bill.  Would recommend to anyone.

Liam stepped in when we were let down by another bricklayer and from start to finish he was a pleasure to deal with.  His work is exemplary as his attitude, from the first site visit to clearing up at the end of the job nothing is to much trouble and any obstacles are soon navigated.  He is courteous being mindful of the neighbours when making extra noise or dust and keeps the site tidy while work is being carried out.  Liam was always punctual and always put the hours in to get the job done in our tight time frame.  Liam is trust worthy and very genuine.

50sq2 side extension

Excellent.  Very pleasant and easy to deal with.   Gave an accurate quote, not quite the lowest I received, but gave the impression of being reliable and efficient.  Proved to be exactly that.  Turned up and worked hard, finishing ahead of schedule, even when having to pause for a bit due to weather.   Most importantly, did an excellent job.  The garage is constructed of old brickwork and I was worried that it would be impossible to repair to a good standard.  There is a skill in brickwork, but obviously a further skill in having the eye to tie it all in in jobs like this one.  Very happy.
