Tom the Plasterer very polite and well mannered - got on with the job in a fast and efficient manner explaining what he was doing and gave good advice on the paint to use when dry.  Very pleased with his work.

Plaster Bathroom ceiling

This is the first time I have used Danny and his boys.  Every aspect of the job was excellent.  They arrived on time for both days of the job; were very careful not to damage the house as they brought equipment and materials in and out; the job done was excellent and in timescale and they cleaned up meticulously after each day.  I really could not fault them - and I am a fussy guy!  They didn't even have a noisy radio blaring out which seems quite unusual and a pleasant surprise.  I would highly recommend them.

Danny was the only professional to respond via Checkatrade.  He came out to survey quickly and provided a fair quote.  His colleagues arrived promptly and worked hard to finish the job quickly doing an extra bit of unplanned work as well.  Overall a great job and communication with Danny was excellent

Replastering a kitchen in a Victorian house

I was looking for a plasterer and McCall's were recommended and I was very pleased with the work they did which was replastering our landing and 2 bedrooms.  Despite being a messy job, they covered all the floors with sheeting got on with it swiftly and cleaned up afterwards and the two lads who did the job were sound.  Highly recommended.

Very quickly after putting up my job on Checkatrade JLB got in touch and suggested a convenient time to come and look in person.   JLB was professional and courteous throughout, taking a look at the ceilings and wall and explaining what work could be done.  JLB provided a detailed quote which was a good price.  We agreed a convenient date and set the job in motion.  JLB completed the job to a very high standard and were considerate of working in my home. Very accommodating when we had problems with scaffolder.  Efficiently carried out the work for us, cleared up and bagged for disposal all the rubble - including a gutter adjacent to the work which we were very grateful for.  He arrived promptly and left the entire area clean afterwards.  Fully recommend him for any further work.

Repair and plaster bedroom ceiling

Assessed options for blown ceiling.  Provided options, removed problem area and renew plasterboard ceiling, skim finish to entire ceiling preserving existing plaster mouldings and decorative ceiling rose.

Replace plaster ceiling

Clayton came to give a quote and was able to do the job the following day.  It was a days work.  He was a bit late to arrive as he had to source some of the materials.  A text would have been helpful so I knew he was still coming.  He brought Steve with him and they covered all the carpet with an excellent plastic covering which was stuck down.  They cracked on with the job and didn’t stop until it was finished.  Everything looked fine with the plaster.  In morning I removed plastic when the blobs had dried.  The carpet was perfect underneath.  Minimum waste.  Ceilings are drying out well.  Excellent

While my rental property was being repainted we realised the side walls in the extension were in poor condition.  Fine Plastering responded to my request very quickly and provided a competitive quote.  They did the job the next day allowing completion of the redecoration in a reasonable time.  Standard of finish was excellent.
