Bogdan came at short notice to fit 5 internal doors into the existing frames which turned out to be very difficult as they were not very straight due to the age of the property.  He worked tirelessly to get the job done in the day and was very fair regarding the price given that extra work was required.  He was determined to get the best finish possible and to try to get the perfect fit.

Craig Shaw Carpentry

Craig removed our old wooden spindles and installed oak balustrading and glass panels up the stairs and along our landing.  He also replaced all our internal doors and fitted new handles.  He made such a fabulous job and it looks stunning.  We are so happy with his craftsmanship.  His works was carried out in the time he said and he would always arrive when he said he would.  He was clean and tidy and a really nice guy.  He was recommended to us by a friend and we would happily pass on our recommendation.

Craig was recommended to us by a friend, who could not speak highly enough of his work.  Craig has now completed several jobs for us (installed fitted bedroom wardrobes / boxed-in a kitchen extractor fan / repaired skirting boards / trimmed internal doors) and we could not be happier with the results.  Craig is a real craftsman who pays meticulous attention to detail and ensures that his finished work is exactly how you want it.  He is also a really nice guy. Craig has completed several jobs for us in recent years, and all the work has been completed to an extremely high standard.  Jobs have been completed on time and for the agreed price, and Craig is always polite and friendly.  His work for us has included building shelving and cabinets into alcoves; opening an alcove deeper by removing the old plasterboard addition; building wardrobes with shelving and hanging space and repairing a fence.  He makes good suggestions and has a good design sense for what will work and look nice in a space, but he has also been willing to work with our preferences.

We are so glad Craig was recommended to us.  He is an excellent craftsman but he is also prompt, hard working, and a good communicator.  Nothing is a problem for him.  A pleasure to have working in the house.

Second job Dan has done for us, fitting a new door to the kids bedroom in place of previous stairgate. Quick response, tidy worker and reasonable pricing. 

Unfortunately the door handle supplied disintegrated today (couple of weeks after fitting) but that was manufacturer defect. Dan immediately offered to replace for us though, so all good!

We had our locks fitted in our bathroom and the work carried out by Dan was impeccable.  He also fitted our washing line.  He is very knowledgeable at what he does and recommends.  Whilst at the job, he cleaned up straight away and also prompt at his arrival when visiting.  We would 100% recommend Dan and go back to him for any further carpentry work.

Dan fitted a new door on our cottage today.  There were a few hiccups throughout the course of the day which he solved without complaint.  Super efficient!

My home is one of a terrace of mock Georgian houses.  The porticos, in that style, are made up of a frame with multiple layers of wood profiles, topped by a small lead covered roof which had deteriorated, allowing rain water to cause rot.  I needed a builder who could do all the work - new lead, new woodwork and repainting.  I tried several tradesmen, who were not keen to take on the job; one actually said that it was too difficult.  Luckily I found Steven Williams who has done everything required, while hampered by awful weather, to a very high standard

Wonderful service from Steven, he responded quickly and helped design the built in storage and entertainment unit I wanted even providing me with a computerised design.  Steven carried out the work to a high finish from designing to building and finishing, adding in striplighting.  I've since used him to do other carpentry jobs in my home, a very tidy and respectful carpenter.  Thank you Steven.
