PJL Carpentry and Building

PJL Carpentry rebuilt from the ground up our existing garage into two rooms: a large office and a shed.  The resulting building is close to 30sqm in size.  The work was carried out to a high standard with exceptional carpentry skills and using quality materials.  Phil and his team were operating independently, requesting input were needed and providing good suggestions during the build (for example on installing an A/C unit).  Their approach aimed at choosing solutions which made the most sense and at a reasonable cost.  The garden office looks great.  We will definitely hire again.

Work was carried out very professionally and efficiently.  They were both courteous and clearly explained to us how they were going to carry out the work.  They got the work completed quickly and tidied up any mess created.  I’d definitely use them again and recommend them.

Roof Repairs

Good work, helpful and polite, passionate and patient to explain the plan.  Highly recommend to our neighbours who need to refurnish their houses and renovation.

Porch building and refurnish

PJL suggested a style of front door to replace the old one which we then chose.  The door and frame were then fitted very efficiently on day one and the last finishing touches were completed the next morning.  The team were very friendly and everything was tidied up inside and out.  We are very pleased with our smart new front door!

Phil and his two sons did an amazing job of converting an old single garage that was used for storage in to an amazing office space (could also be an entertainment area) with a small storage unit on the front.  It's transformed that space from essentially something barely functional to something really useful for us as a family.  Phil is great with ideas but ones that are not ridiculously expensive but add real value.  The quality of workmanship with the structure was really excellent as was the finishing.  They are also easy to have at one's home and we highly recommend this team.  Brilliant

Phil did a great job of fixing the stairs.  He was very responsive, came on time and did a great job explaining how he was going to fix the issue.  Great experience overall!

Chris did an excellent job, even with me changing my mind a bit on the fly.  He was careful, tidy and considerate with my young family and pets around and we’d love to work with him again.

This was our second time using Chris and we were once again very happy with the results.  This time it was two separate projects: 1) splitting the under stairs cupboards into three and adding shelves, and 2) a bookcase on the upstairs landing.   Chris was available quickly, is always friendly and willing to make adjustments on the fly, and we are very happy with the results.  Will certainly be using Chris again in the future.

Chris was on time and arrived on the date he gave us.  He fitted a new full length cupboard for our boiler as well as supplying and fitting a new kitchen door.  Chris was very friendly and consulted us as he was working, he is a very experienced joiner and would definitely recommend him and use him again for any future work

Toby and Charlie came early this year to fit two new doors with no problem at all.  Had new carpet fitted and I needed the doors to be trimmed.  Charlie came around was very quick explained everything and completed the job in a very professional manner.  Would recommend to friends and family.

Haven’t had work done for a while but after this company boarded my loft so professionally I went with them to have the bathroom done.  Can’t recommend or praise their work more highly.

I needed two doors purchased and fitted with my hinges and door handles.  Absolutely perfect every thing I asked for was done with no problems.  Turned up on time and done the job within that day, so pleased they even took the old doors away.  One less job for me thanks.  When they finished they cleared up and left no mess. Fitting two doors

Toby and his gang were professional in completing a complex task including curved walling, retrofitting insulation, new partitions and oak room dividers.  They worked to time and budget and worked around problems positively.   Any errors were corrected in a timely fashion with no complaints.  Toby and the crew were always polite and a pleasure to work with.

Toby and his team are fantastic and friendly.  We had originally booked in to have our internal doors sorted after having new flooring.  We then had Toby and the team around again to board our loft.  The price was fair we didn’t have to wait long for booking and they worked around our schedule and needs.  Overall really efficient working from everyone and they tidied up after themselves too.  Good quality work and I’ve already recommended them to my friends.  They are now my go to for anything carpentry and building.

Very professional, cleaned after themselves and arrived on time.  Work was completed in a day, they arrived and got on with it.  Our stair rail needed replacing as ours was dated, Toby was able to replace it all and take the old one without any issues.  Would highly recommend!
