After finding Dave on check a trade I was not disappointed.  He was punctual, tidy and very responsive when it came to quotes, questions and timescales.  He was also very flexible when we wanted to add something to the job.  I would definitely use Dave again for any plastering work.

Arrived on time, very tidy and respectful.  Cleaned up was expecting loads of dust but not much at all.

Beau and James made it so easy to get the hole in my ceiling sorted.  They listened to what I needed, gave a very reasonable quote, and then fitted the job into their schedule very quickly.  On the day they arrived at the agreed time, did the job efficiently and without any dramas, and tidied everything up when they left.  I highly recommend them for this type of work and will be contacting them next time I have any plastering jobs.

I just wanted to say thank you for being so kind to my mum on this job, she suffers terrible with anxiety and really struggles having work men in the house.  She said you have made her feel so comfortable and you have gone above and beyond even leaving your lights in the kitchen at night incase she needed some light and even offering to fit her a rose afterwards and protected her belongings properly.  I would highly recommend a Michael and his son for anyone who wants someone trust worthy for anyone worried for elderly parents or vulnerable.

Plastered three ceilings and taken down old ceiling tiles

Initially everything looked good but after 24 hours it was apparent there was a serious issue with the plaster on one side of the room.  Crazing and cracking was appearing along a 6ft length.  I've since found various other spots in the ceiling where the finish is poor and required me to fill and smooth it.  We supplied Michal with photos and he advised he would come back and fix it.  It's now 4 weeks since Michael stopped responding to text message requests asking when he would be able to come and fix the issues.

Michael communicated well, he was prompt to give a quote and was easy to work with.  He skimmed and partially boarded 2 rooms, skimming over some of my poor attempt.  The walls are smooth and level, with a keen eye for detail.

Michael was great and I would definitely use his services again.  His team were efficient and thorough.  We are very pleased with the end product.

Keaton came out to quote the job within just a few hours of listing on Checkatrade.  Very reasonable price and easy communication.  Initial job completed very quickly and to a great standard.  Even without painting, you'd struggle to know that the ceiling had ever been cut open.  Very pleased with the work, the cost and the team.

As far as grandfather / grandson teams go, this is an extremely good one!  They arrived punctually and set about the tasks with confidence and care.  It was noticeable that they were very positive about discussing the best options to achieve the appropriate solutions and their combined experience, spanning many decades, was a valuable attribute.  They were considerate, polite and helpful at all stages and the amount they charged me was very reasonable.  I hope to employ them again for similar projects in the future.
