Dan explained fully what needed to be done to improve the earthing system in the garage, repair the external lighting, and replace and consolidate the consumer units to bring them up-to-date.  He quoted an acceptable price, broken down and explained.  He and his colleagues arrived promptly at the arranged time and worked professionally and effectively, with good communication throughout.  The job was completed to a high standard within the time estimated and cleaned up afterwards.  The bill corresponded to the quote; one extra item was provided for a very reasonable price.

Replace and consolidate consumer units

Dan carried out a full house rewire for us and has done a great job. His communication has been excellent, the work was carried quickly and efficiently and he and his team tidied up after themselves very well. The standard of the work was very good. Aftercare has also been smooth - when we had an issue he was straight round to work out the cause and fix it. Excellent all round and I would absolutely recommend Dan and Esfix.

House Rewire

The initial response to my query was acted on very promptly and a site visit arranged for the following day.  Explanation of what was required was very clear and a quote issued the day after.  On installation day the team arrived on time as promised and completed the job in a very efficient and professional way.  Very please with the end result.

Replacement Consumer Unit

Answered their phones.  Returned calls.  Arrived on time.  Fixed our earth problems.  Did exactly what they said they'd do at a reasonable price that was the same as they quoted.  Highly knowledgeable staff who were pleasant to have working in your home.  Tidy, meticulous and thorough work, and explained what they were doing and why.  They even reset the clock on the cooker after they'd turned off the power and put it back on!  Their work was certificated.  We didn't wait long for that either.  Esfix were recommended to us by a friend and I'd recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone.

This was the installation of a 32 amp supply to a tesla generation 3 electric vehicle charge point for a customer in harlow, the supply for the charger was taken from the existing consumer unit on the 1st floor of the property, through the roof and then down the outside of the building up into the bottom of the charge point, the new generation 3 charge point has got to be one of, if not the best looking charger on the market right now ????????

This piece of equipment was installed as part of installing a tesla generation 3 charge point as the tesla doesn't come with either pen fault detection or any kind of load management built into the charge point itself, the black box mounted next to the consumer unit contains both a pen fault detection module and a load management device, both of these you need to meet regulations concerning the unsteadily of electric vehicle charge points ????????

This is from the installer of an Anderson electric vehicle charge point for a customer in bishops stortford, one of the best things about the Anderson charge point is the tether lead storage system, as you can see by the picture, once the lead is wrapped around the charge point you cannot see it, plus it has brushes around the edge to help to keep the lead clean every time it gets wrapped up, great bit of thinking by the design team ?? ????

This installer was for 2 x 2000w external heaters wired and fitted for a customer in bishops stortford, the supply for the heaters was taken from an existing electrical supply in the customers garage, the cable was then run low level in armoured cable to the pagoda, each heater is controlled separately through its own external spur, plus each heater has a remote control with different heat levels and timer to give the user some flexibility on how they would like to use the heaters, they also look pretty cool ?? ????

This light was installed for a customer in harlow, they wanted a new light position to be added over their dining table as the existing lounge light was too far away from the table, as they wanted a little disruption as possible to the walls, the existing lighting supply was altered above the ceiling and a wireless switch was added on the existing switch, meaning no chasing of cables down the wall, plus the new switch is dimmable so they can control the light levels to how they want them ????

This is where I took the power supply from for the new light installation, luckily the house is a new build property which helped me a lot to get the feed from the spur on the wall to under the floor and out of the adjacent wall without damaging the fabric of the building.

EJB Electrical 

Eddie carried out work at my home last year.  On multiple occasions, Eddie chased me for a positive review straight after completion, then never again after I did.   The works seemed fine at the time but after a few months, one of the plug sockets failed.  Despite being within warranty, Eddie refuse to refit the sockets he recommended unless we paid.  It seems Eddie cares more about his online persona and spends more time deflecting responsibility, than providing sufficient aftercare to his clients.  Caution to any future customers or anyone looking for a tradesman that cares about customers

I got in touch with Eddie as I needed an EICR for a property I’m in the middle of purchasing.  He has been very polite, helpful and prompt at answering any questions I’ve had. Called EJB Electrical first thing in the morning with the issue.  Eddie rearranged his day to help me out, coming out the same day of call as it was an issue for my father (oap).
