Full Roof Replacement

I contacted Kyle to arrange a full new roof with replacement of my old one as tiles kept falling off. Kyle came out the next day to assess the size of the roof and gave me a very hard to beat quote.

I decided to opt for Hawkins roofing after reading reviews and also how informed the team were in relation to what work I exactly needed. 

The experience from start to finish was absolutely exceptional with Kyle updating me with photos of their progress. The whole renewal only took 2 days and the pricing of the service as I say was very hard to beat.

I would recommend Hawkins roofing to anyone.

Full roof replacement

I found Hawkins roofing services through check-a-trade and saw how positive their feedback was.  I contacted Kyle after 3 previous roofing firms let me down.  Kyle came out and the cost for the work was really good.  He and his team came out the following day, spot on 8am.  It was a 2 day job.  They completed fascias and soffits, roof and chimney repairs, new guttering and downpipes, gable end and front ridge covers.  A great bunch of lads and Kyle clearly takes pride in his work, ensuring the others are doing so too.  Highly recommended and will 100% use again.

I was impressed by how quickly the company came out to look at my roof and the work was satisfactorily completed once they located a matching slate.

We had a serious leak coming through ceiling between bathroom and landing.  Obviously a problem with flat roof on extension.  As this was an emergency I contacted Hawkins Roofing Services on the basis of their excellent score on this site plus their nearby locality.  It turned out to be one of my better decisions.  On contacting Kyle and making him aware of the serious nature of the problem he arrived later that day, gave me a reasonable quote the next day and completed the work with his colleagues 4 days later.  Kyle was a pleasure to deal with and the work was carried out to 
 a high standard.

Looked at the reviews and looked like a good company but didn't bother showing up after they got paid now ignores phone calls and texts.  Came out to fix a leak in the roof two days in a row.  3rd day of leaking was told he would be back in a few days.  Didn't show up, no answer in text and actively ignoring phone calls.  Paid money to have the roof be left like a sieve.  Don't waste your money.

Kevin was honest and when made a promise he kept it.  Said he'd get the roof done before Xmas and he did despite the terrible roofing weather.  Have worked with many construction teams over the decades and KA Roofing is certainly at the top of the list and his pricing was more than reasonable.  If you want a roof, repairs, etc, KA Roofing will not let you down, so trust in them and they will deliver what they promise, as we found out.  Thank You Kevin and his Team, real professionals. I had been scammed by a rogue trader with regards to the roof, losing a significant amount of money for no work being carried out. Ryan and his team were incredibly professional, and understood my concerns with the roof. They came out, and shifted their workload around to perform this job as soon as possible. Even with some unforeseen delays due to the weather, they were able to complete the job in time. 

They were clear with their communications, and kept me updated throughout the job as well. 

Roof replacement

Did not carry out job as per contact.  Were contracted to replace entire roof and leadwork and install new facias and guttering.  Left old lead valleys in place despite being contracted for new dry valleys, insisted they had installed new lead despite the fact that it clearly is not new and has holes in it.  Water ingress far worse with 'new' roof than before.  Daylight can be seen from inside the attic and rain coming in.  Water cascading down front of house from 'new' guttering.  Very poor workmanship in general.

Dave did a very good job explained the job and gave me the reasons as to why it was happening I'd used 2 other roofers previously with no results but dave came did a great job at reasonable price.

Fixed a leak

I contacted David after being recommended by a number of locals and I can see why he’s so highly recommended.  Really reasonable pricing, nothing was a problem during the time the work was being carried out, work was done to an excellent standard - overall really happy with the job and would recommend his company to anyone.

The felt on our dormer roof was in poor condition and we were getting leaks inside.  David gave us a competitive quote and we opted to have EPDM rubber installed.  David and his team worked quickly and efficiently, and tidied up after themselves, a good set of lads.  They've done a great job and would highly recommended them.

David and his team have just finished a full roof replacement for us.  Despite a few hiccups along the way (e.G.  A spell of bad weather, the council deciding to dig up the street at the same time), he always kept us in the loop, was easy to contact and always got back to us, and turned up when he said he would.  He and his team were polite and professional throughout, and tidied up after themselves.  He has done a great job and we have booked him to come back in the new year to replace our flat roof as well.  Would recommend - and have already done so based on our experience.

Full Roof and guttering replacement

Contacted them based on Facebook recommendations.  We had a leak from a bay window roof.  Getting hold of a reliable roofer is a nightmare especially following bad weather as they are in such demand.  David responded to calls and came out to take a look and booked the job in.  He turned up whe he said he would and replaced the leaking roof with a rubber roof and flashing.  Really pleased with his response and workmanship.  We would call him again.
