I only wish I could give a higher rating. From quote to completion, Barrie was superb. He arrived on time, was very efficient and ensured that I was happy with the work and how the system operated. He did not try to get me to add additional items etc. In fact, he discouraged me from getting parts I thought I needed but didn't. I would not hesitate in recommending Thorpe to anyone and if I were to consider adding doorbells or anything more to my system they will receive all my future business.

He did not try to sell me more than I needed; in fact he did the opposite when I thought I needed extra sensors he advised against it. He completed the job efficiently and cleanly and gave a full demo and advise. Very grateful and would highly recommend.

The guys from Thorpe Security Systems were great and got the job done very efficiently.  The issue in my alarm system was identified quickly, and rectified soon after.  Due to the quick appointment, Baz even offered to have a look at any other electrical issues I had, which included fitting a wall light.  I'll definitely be calling on Thorpe SS again in the future. Fitting Intruder alarm

We moved into a house with old and dated CCTV in place that was no longer working and wanted to get it fixed.  From the first contact Phil has been great!  Super reliable, honest and very hard working!  Great with kids and let my toddler watch him whilst he did pretty much the entire job.   Nothing seemed like too much effort for him.  Would recommend using Phil to all my family and friends

Technical issues

What a lovely man, Phil was very professional, Informative, and helpful.  He removed the old faulty alarm system and replaced it with my choice of a Texecom alarm system.  He is a very tidy workman, he also spent time with us explaining how the alarm system works and the useful app on our phones.  I would recommend Phil from Digital itech to everyone.

They quoted a reasonable price for the work required.  They completed the work on the agreed date.  They tested it many times once the work was completed.  They explained in plain English how to operate the equipment.  Once the work was completed they tidied up.  They also gave a Guarantee.

Security

I've had to rate this company a 5 for workmanship because I needed to call them back twice in the first week or so after they fitted the alarm.  This was to reposition two of the sensors and then to refix all the sensors because two of them fell off the wall.  I feel that if communication had been better in the first instance - i.E.  Checking with me where I wanted the sensors fitting and then explaining the option of screwing instead of sticking them to the wall - then these problems could have been avoided.
