    I only wish I could give a higher rating. From quote to completion, Barrie was superb. He arrived on time, was very efficient and ensured that I was happy with the work and how the system operated. He did not try to get me to add additional items etc. In fact, he discouraged me from getting parts I thought I needed but didn't. I would not hesitate in recommending Thorpe to anyone and if I were to consider adding doorbells or anything more to my system they will receive all my future business.

    I wish I could give a higher rating than I already have. Barrie provided an excellent service from quote to completion. He did not try to sell me more than I needed; in fact he did the opposite when I thought I needed extra sensors he advised against it. He completed the job efficiently and cleanly and gave a full demo and advise. Very grateful and would highly recommend.

    The guys from Thorpe Security Systems were great and got the job done very efficiently. The issue in my alarm system was identified quickly, and rectified soon after. Due to the quick appointment, Baz even offered to have a look at any other electrical issues I had, which included fitting a wall light. I'll definitely be calling on Thorpe SS again in the future. Established in Rossendale, Lancashire in 2016, Thorpe Security Systems is a customer focused firm with over 30 years experience in military telecommunications, electronic, electrical and security engineering and have become a leading, complete security systems solutions supplier and installer, delivering cost effective solutions for all your security needs in both domestic and commercial settings.


We install only high quality intruder alarm and CCTV systems from some of the leading manufacturers including Visonic, Qolsys, Dahua, Hikvision and Texecom to name a few. We are conversant with systems from all main manufacturers so can take care of any repairs of servicing.


We offer free estimates and site surveys which can be physical or virtual. All of our CCTV systems come with a complete 3 year parts and 1 year labour warranty and all of our alarms, lighting and electrical work comes with a 1 year parts and labour warranty. All warranties are given in writing. All our customers enjoy full technical support and aftercare to answer any questions or queries and resolve any issues they may have in a swift and sure manner. All systems are installed immaculately with any cabling concealed inside and outside the property.
