After unnecessary delays at the planning stage Tony Dauti and his whole team were a delight to work with and were both hardworking and professional.  They were respectful of the property and Tony was able to offer invaluable advice when needed along the way.  We were consulted on any decisions and the build, as Tony's itemised quote specified, came in on budget and on time.  He was able to source particular doors and flooring for us and made what is undoubtedly an upheaval as easy as possible.  We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Brilliant job by Platinum Build - Vince and his team created a wonderful kitchen diner for us - Vince kept us informed throughout the work - they arrived promptly every day - worked very hard and fast never cutting corners or making compromises and always clearing up behind themselves and taking the rubbish away - he never flinched when we changed a few things here and there and invoiced for the agreed quote.  The sub contractors he used were all first class and to be recommended

Platinum were great.  Very flexible, easy to work with and charged what they quoted despite us making changes that I suspect other builders might have charged extra for.  Came back and fixed some minor issues after being paid, which is quite unusual.  Quality of work we have been delighted with and very clean throughout and at end of job.  Great job Vince.

Exterior working/ repairs

Prompt initial visit and quote, good communication and team work.  Well organised and jobs were completed properly.  Helpful in dealing with small problems that others had not addressed.  As others have said, pride was taken in their work and getting it right.

Wall and floor insulation, replacement floor and internal decorating

I was worried that what we needed doing was too small of a job.  However, Tim and his team were quick, precise and efficient.  They constantly wanted our opinion to make sure we were happy.  There was a slight issue with the tap we had bought but they managed to get this fixed to avoid getting a new replacement.  The finished result is great.  I would definitely recommend.

Tim and his team did a fantastic job building our side return.  Digging foundations.  Doing the brickwork.  Creating a very fiddly long tunnel through a cavity wall for our cat flap.  Taking real care to do smooth plastering and painting.  Always following our architect's plans and suggested materials.  There were a few jobs Tim wouldn't take on - for example, windows/door supply/installation.  This was made clear up front and we appreciated the honesty (rather than builders who promise they are experts at every single thing).  KM take real pride in their work and we'll definitely use them again.

Really happy with the work and with the team.  The work was well planned and coordinated, and the whole team was brisk yet friendly.  Very professionally completed and managed.  Particularly impressed with the speed of all communications and the good breakdown of details and information given.  I will certainly be looking to work with this team again for any future needs.

Very pleased with the work done. The guys were friendly, polite, efficient, and thoroughly tidied-up after themselves. All done within a day. Would use again. 

Removal of built-in wardrobe 

The bedroom had years of damp problems and a bowing ceiling. The team were amazing and explained what could be done. The whole ceiling needed to come down and the plaster on the outward facing walls were in very poor condition. They put in insulated plaster board, and the standard of the finish was fantastic. The team were punctual and very hard working. Their standard of cleanliness was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. They communicated well and the work was done efficiently. I will certainly be using them again and can certainly recommend.

bedroom revamp

Fireplaces opened up, pantry wall removed, roof re-capped, chimney rebuilt / repointed and a new large hole drilled through 45cm stone wall for an electric meter move.  They even worked at the weekend to make sure that the work was completed in a timely manner.  Time was lost due to high winds and bad weather.  The guys were professional, courteous, flexible, accommodating, reliable and reasonably priced.  Thank you.

A variety of building and roof based jobs

Laurenc was very cooperative in arranging visits to fit around us, for which we were most grateful.   The job was done very efficiently and to the spec quoted.   They excavated 100mm around the flank wall to uncover the DPC that had been bridged when the concrete drive was originally laid years ago; and installed a lintel in the chimney breast in the lounge, plastering up afterwards.
