Serene Ponds & Landscapes

Our pond lining had been punctured by the winter’s floods. Serene arrived on and  got straight on with the job. This involved removing plants, remaining water, and 14 years worth of sludge from the bottom (and several frogs and newts) . They removed the old lining, replaced it with the new one, replaced the plants and replaced the slabs around the  edge of the pond. Serene took away all the debris. They left our garden very tidy. They did an excellent job and kept to their quote. They got on with the work, were very pleasant and I would have them back if I need any other work done.

From first quote to completion of work, I cant speak highly enough of Serene's work.  The guys had to put in extra effort due to the poor state of my pond and have left me with something that is infinitely better.  Would definitely use again!

Pond maintenance

Calum and Matt did an outstanding job for us building a stone faced, blade water feature and reservoir, levelling a lawn and installing a tile surround with pop up sprinklers, laying porcelain slabs and tiles around a garden room and creating a concrete slab for a gabion wall.  They can certainly turn their hands to most everything and they did a great job for us.  They are always happy and positive on site - and did everything that we asked of them , with smiles on their faces throughout.  We could not have chosen better than them!  We would definitely recommend to others.

If I need any further landscaping work doing, will be having them back.  ; they were that good and completely trustworthy.  Everything from start to finish was professionally handled and finished to a high standard.  The quote was carefully calculated and We were kept informed throughout.  The materials used were of a high quality to ensure an excellent result was achieved.  When asked to alter the original plans, it was no trouble.  They were willing to discuss other aspects and help with queries about the pond.  They were considerate of our neighbours and kept the noise as quiet as possible.

From quoting to committing to a start date, Calum and Dan did a really fab job from repointing all the slabs in my garden, (due to previous poor workmanship, ripping out old decking and relaying new and laying artifical grass.  Paid good attention to detail and also accommodated some extra bits that I wanted/needed all within the same timeframe, although one job turned out to be bigger through no fault of theirs and they've fitted in before Christmas.  They are a couple of really great and very polite lads, would definitely recommend and will be using them again.

Artificial Lawn, New Decking and Repointing.

They came out promptly and submitted a quote after advising us on possibilities to improve our pool.  The work was excellent and they were efficient and tidy.  The end result is stunning and we are very pleased.

Although not quite finished what they have achieved so far will bring satisfaction for years to come. More importantly they have been able to save us money on items such as topsoil and wood. I hired Dave to bring my garden dining dream to life.  From my first meet and measure with him he listened, offered advice (without being condescending) and kept in contact in the run up to the start of the job to ensure a smooth execution of the plan we'd discussed.  He also was very flexible when I decided to add a few other elements -shed removal and hammock poles .  The job was carried out to an exceedingly high standard, Dave and Candy were a pleasure to have around - I suspect my dog wishes they were a permanent feature.   I intend to carry out future works and I'll not be looking elsewhere

David has just completed 48 square meters of Indian stone patio replacement to a fantastic standard, again as this is the second time I have used his very professional services.  On time, the quote is what you pay, clean working environment, fully valeted area on completion, in my book genuine and very competent would not hesitate to use for a third time.

The whole team were BRILLIANT.  From the initial quote (very reasonable) the guys were punctual, reliable and really friendly.  Their work ethics were superb, really hard working and dedicated.  They were incredibly tidy and having finished the job (3 days earlier than originally quoted) you wouldn’t have even known they had been - no signs of any of the soil that had been removed, the hard core,  sand and cement that had been used.
