A smooth and professional job carried out by Northern Stoves.   We are extremely pleased with the work and it was great to see such an organised approach by Paul; everything was planned out meticulously and carried out so tidily.  It’s really good that he and the team manage the entire job i.E.  Building/rendering/plastering/ fitting the chimney/building a hearth and laying bricks, not to mention the precise and installation of the stove itself.  And, knowing that the team will be back in a year to sweep the chimney and maintain the fire is very reassuring.  Spot on.

Paul and Wes came to fit a stove and I’m delighted with their work.  Paul gave us good advice, has been super professional with great communication throughout, and installation was kept tidy and done quickly.  I am happy with the price I paid and so pleased with the new slate, and how tidy the flue looks both inside and out.  The installation was for a stove my grandad gave me so it means a lot to have it heating our home!

Remove existing fire. Create wider opening, Supply and lay black slate to create the hearth area. Clean and point rear of chimney chamber. Supply and fix heat proof boarding to clad the side walls of the fireplace opening. Supply and fit a stainless steel flexible flue liner within the chimney chamber. Supply and fit a Clock Blithfield 8kw multifuel stove into your fireplace opening. Supply and fit a stove pipe to the top of the stove  and fit a steel closure plate. Supply and fit a cowl to the top of the chimney pot. Supply and fit a carbon monoxide alarm. Commission the stove and Issue a Hetas certificate and chimney data plate to comply with Building Regulations.

I cannot recommend Chris and his team highly enough. 
Chris came out to complete a site inspection and we agreed a price and installation date. (I didn’t get any other quotes as I truested Chris from the initial meeting)

As someone who relies on the clock for a job and had time OCD I was more rhan impressed when the install team arrived bang on time.

Tidyness !! Absolutely unbelievable after removing any surplus building material I think the room was tidier than when they started. Regarding redecoration all we have to do is paint a 12” length of plaster.

After getting 3 quotes for supply and installation of a stove, I chose to employ Stoveinstaller based on my experience of meeting the owner, Chris, who turned up on time as arranged, was very helpful with advice and obviously knows his trade. Reviews on internet platforms backed this up too. A date was arranged for the work, two young men, sorry I didn't get their names, arrived early on the day,and after protecting the workspace against dust etc, they cracked on with the job, were courteous and kept me informed of the progress. The job took 1.5 days and we are thrilled with the results !

The installation of my log burner was done in a day as promised.  He did leave the area inside clean and tidy.  I just would have liked the rubble and old fire surround to have been removed and not require another tradesman.  We are considering a second log burner installed.

The service we received, both from Robyn over the phone, and from Nathan, when he came to do the work, was exemplary.  Robyn was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for her.
