A friendly & knowledgeable lad from Keytek came out & fixed my door & lock.
Communication was good & he arrived in good time.
A premium for it being a bank holiday but I was pleased with the job & a fair price

Same day service, on time, no mess. Handles on 3 windows needed tightening and one of the windows had dropped making closure difficult.  Adjustments were carried out to make sure I could close the window without a struggle.

We were delighted. We had gone to bed the previous night having had to leave our door unlocked so was very worried. I phoned Keytek at 8am the next morning and their locksmith was with me by 9. The job was done before 10 and my door was locking smoothly again, better than ever before.
The person on the phone at Keytek was so reassuring too. I had already calmed down by the time they had finished speaking to me. 

Door would no longer lock

When I said I think the lock has become misaligned woman on the phone said ‘ it’s not a lock problem it’s your door, thank you bye ‘ without letting me say anything else and she hung up.  I was left holding my phone wondering if that really just happened.  I at least expected her to get someone to look at it.  In the end it WAS my lock and Locksmith Master did it within a couple of hours.

The company got in touch very quickly after the job was posted and offered advice on how I might be able to source a replacement key myself.  When this wasn't possible, they attended same day and opened the lock for me.  Great to deal with, very friendly and professional service.

Front door upvc and not locking.

We had attempted to have this repaired through our house insurance…they commissioned their own contractor… 2weeks Down the line we were still waiting for the job to be done….I was informed the work had to be paid for ourselves… after taking our voluntary excess of £100 I was informed that the lock required parts costing £198 along with another 2 visits @ 2x £93.06 ….  Unhappy I contacted checkatrade and were promptly contacted by Caledonian Lock and Safes the service was very professional efficient and promt….  The lock was cleaned and reassembled and works perfectly at 1/4 of the cost..
