Extensions

Storm damage to our fence meant we needed new posts and panels - and agreed with the builders recommendation for concrete posts and runner boards along the bottom to give better longevity.  Good timekeeping and good tidiness considering how wet the ground is.  There was an issue with the panels which the team remedied without question.  Finish looks smart.

Turned up to view the problem.  Could see the snag from the road.  Came a week later to rectify the problem.  Found a couple more snags which were rectified at no extre cost.  Really nice guys. Kitchen and single story side extension completed 2023.  All parts thoroughly explained and carried out to high spec from Billy and all the trades on site during the process.  Communicated throughout and a pleasure to deal with.  We are so happy with our kitchen and extension - it has made the house feel more like a home.  All the trades on site were friendly, tidy and kept us informed.  Made the best use of the space we had with the budget we had to work with.

The work was undertaken on 17th January 2024.  Builder arrived early morning in accordance with earlier communications.  The door I had obtained didn't quite fit so the builder supplied knock-on extensions.  Old door removed and disposed of by builder.  New door fully fitted and all debris removed within the hour.  Very clean and tidy.  Amazing job.  Builder was punctual, courteous, resourceful and finished job in lightening speed.  Overjoyed would highly recommend WD Oneill.

I recently had some french doors installed in a dining-room leading to a conservatory.  The work also required plastering and some box work and for the bricks to be made good.  The work was completed in 2 days which amazed me and I was absolutely thrilled that there was no mess.  It was clear that the builders had placed dust mats in the relevant room and also through a walkway.  To be completely honest I actually think the room was cleaner after than it was before which takes some doing with my wife!  Astounded by the competitive price, quality of workmanship and cleanliness.  Highly recommended

From the outset Mr O'Neill listened to what we hoped to achieve, he reviewed the architect drawings and came up with a realistic quote and timeframe for the work.  He introduced us to his highly skilled team, they started on time, he kept us informed on progress and coordinated plumbers, roofers and carpenters to provide a seamlessly efficient service.  His attention to detail was exceptional as were his allied trades.  He was easy to contact and patiently answered any queries we had. Owner arrived within 24hrs to view job, quote provided within a further 48hrs.  Started 2 weeks later.  Great team, friendly and tidy. Andy was professional and courteous throughout. He delivered exactly what he said he would when he said he would, and even popped back after for some finishing touches that others would have neglected. He is a perfectionist through and through. The people he work with were also lovely and courteous - being especially careful of a couple of indoor cats when they needed to come in and out of the house. I'm thrilled with my new Utility Room and everybody who sees it is blown away.

The work comprised repointing and repair of an existing brick wall which had deteriorated due to friable mortar and full thickness cracking.  The wall was also increased in height.  Andy came when he said he would and carried out the work with great attention to detail.  I am very pleased with the end result.

A Eades Building Contractor has recently transformed the front of our house.  A new porch, taking down of an internal wall and concrete cladding has totally changed the look of our terraced house.  It is just beautiful and has given the house a real New England look which is just what we were after.  The workmanship is of an extremely high standard and Andy himself, along with Mike, were both an absolute pleasure to have around.  Even when the rain was hammering down, they were still there working to get it done for us.  I highly recommend them for any building work you need doing.
