  Dormer bungalow reno and extension

  Rik and his team did a full renovation on our dormer bungalow, including building of a rear dormer extension. Throughout the project communication was clear and Rik was always happy for us to visit the house to check on progress, and to answer our questions (of which there were many!). Rik was happy to have discussions about adding extra items to the scope and giving us cost estimates on individual jobs so we could manage our budget. He kept us updated about next steps and timelines so we knew what decisions would be needed. Very happy with the end result and would 100% recommend team RC.

  Large Victorian Semi: 3 walls removed to create modern living space.

  We used Rik and his team to do a large downstairs conversion. We wanted a small firm that would care about the project. His references could not be better and his confidence in his skill was well placed. He promised us our house would not fall down. We grew to trust in Rik and moved out to let him do his thing. We used all of his recommendations for subs and we were not wrong to trust him. Communication was great and we were never left in the dark or surprised. He kept to schedule both in terms of time and cost. As his references said ‘In the end we became friends.’ We will have him again.

  New kitchen

  Excellent job done. Really happy with the kitchen. The team spoke to us all through the job and kept us updated. Did a really professional job and the kitchen looks great. Turned up on time every day and worked really hard. They were all great with the family. Really happy with their work.

  Large Single Storey Extension

  Rik and the team worked diligently in all weathers, delivering a wrap-around extension with large decking area of the highest quality. What was particularly great was their ability to tackle bespoke and unusual building materials such as yakisugi (shou sugi ban) charred Japanese external cladding, which they finished to an excellent standard. Schedule of works was very clear from the outset and weekly updates on what to expect in terms of completed tasks and any unexpected costs each week was both realistic and clear. If you want a top quality finish to your project, look no further.

  Kitchen Refurbishment

  RC Building Services were excellent from start to finish. Rik was very professional, respectful and reassuring as shown in his workmanship. Rik was great at giving advice and pointers throughout the build which was very helpful and appreciated. Rik kept us informed all way through our project. Budgets defined clearly and stuck to, and additional costs clearly explained and checked with us. Rik was very punctual, courteous, clean, tidy and respectful of our property. I would not hesitate in recommending RC Building Services.

  Loft conversion

  Excellent overall service provided by Rik, explains everything clearly what the plan for the work will involve and then cracks on with it in a very professional and diligent way. Extremely happy with the work carried out, completed in the time quoted and within the agreed quote. Quality workmanship and would highly recommend, a credit to his trade.
